Have specific goals

Do you have goals that you can really measure?

Do you have goals that are specific?

As we all know goals are just like destinations. So, we know the destinations, stoppages so that we can actually measure how far we have reached and how was our performance in the journey. If any deviations needed we can work out the action plan accordingly.

That is why,

We need to have goals that are specific.

Specific goals

When asked about goals people say they want to healthy, rich, etc. Can we actually call them goals?

The answer is no so we need to know what is a goal.

The first thing which we need to know here is the difference between vision, goals, and resolution as we mostly are not aware of the difference and we treat them interchangeably.

Vision is a big picture of what you dream for and it remains constant as it is an ideal state in which one wants to reach.

Like - I want to be healthy.

I want to be a fitness expert.

Resolution is something which you make for a shorter period of time and that is something which you make to solve a problem.

Like - I resolve to loose weight.

I resolve to read more books.

Goal is something that is more specific and results in some specific result. It can modify or evolve with time.

Like- I want to loose 10 kgs.

I want to be a millionaire.
