The good news is that the global tally for ransomware attacks fell slightly last year by 4%. The bad news is that the time it takes for cyber criminals to complete their attacks has also fallen from months to only days.
Finding a so-called ‘back door’ is now by far the most popular route for attackers to find a weakness in company systems.
