At the World Government Summit that took place in Expo 2020 Dubai, Dubai announces a plan to enter the metaverse. Metaverse could provide nearly $800Bn in revenue by 2024. The National News published an article a few days ago where they talk about Metaverse to drive inclusion in education and health care sectors. DAMAC Properties one of the UAE’s largest real estate property developers plans to launch a metaverse project. Managing Director Ali Sajwani company’s intended push into the metaverse comes after an online survey he conducted revealed that real estate is likely to be the first industry to use NFTs. Can Metaverse function much better with Centralized systems such as Meta as it offers Easy user onboard & interface, better infrastructure. Or will there be a new market leader? Blockchain technology may have its hype but the user experience will be no match to a centralized system, It will be expensive & time-consuming as Scalability issues still exist in the crypto & blockchain world. Despite it being over a decade old technology was created by Satoshi Nakamoto. Metaverse combined with promises of Neuralink could change the current & future of humanity.
