I suppose it's mostly men or boys who are fascinated by fire brigades. There is also so much equipment that can be used in a possible incident - be it a fire, a flood or a wasps' nest. But the fact is for the equipment: it has to be maintained regularly and the use of it has to be practised so that in an emergency both the equipment is used correctly and is available fully functional. What applies to the fire brigade also applies to us: we have to be prepared for our life challenges. There are minor and major strokes of fate. Either way, we need tools, strategies, practised and trained behaviours to be resilient. Jesus once said that if you believe his words and act on them, you are prepared for life's crises and will come out steadfast. Have you ever experienced this and can you learn from it and make thus yourself more resilient for the future?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
