On today's episode Abby and Margot welcome their next guest, Karen Shock. Karen is a writer and author from Fort Wayne Indiana. Her new book, Too Much and Not Enough, comes out on April 18th. Karen's shares that her journey with anxiety began in childhood, but became a big part of her life exactly one year after having a traumatic emergency C-section with her first child at the age of 24. She talks about her experiences with health anxiety, overcoming doomsday thoughts, and surviving deeply rooted religious trauma. She offers helpful tools and strategies that have served her well, and reminds the Warriors that there are 'no quick fixes'. Karen strives to continue to empower herself and others by showing up with honesty and vulnerability through her writing and beyond.
