For some folks it's: Better an "oops", than a 'what if." For others, it's empowering to know that something is not right for them after giving it a shot, and having the strength to walk away. In today's episode, Abby and Margot discuss anxiety surrounding trying and learning new things. They share stories about the emotions that often present themselves when challenged, and how and why they gave up or kept pushing and persevered. They discuss the differences in learning things as a child vs. as an adult, and what kinds of things and/or mindset shifts are sometimes required for leaping outside of a comfort zone. They reveal some of the big takeaways and life lessons they learned through their experiences and invite the listeners to explore what it feels like to sit with or walk away from the discomfort that can come with learning something new.
