Anxiety, depression, bipolar, abuse, isn’t our identity. You are more than your mental illness, so why are your making it your central characteristic? Even if you aren’t fully identifying as your diagnosis, we sometimes let our mental health struggles dictate who we are and what we do.
In this episode, we’ll spend some time discussing how we develop our identity, how you might be identifying as your diagnosis, and what we can do to broaden and diversify our identity.
Thank you to everyone who sent in questions! I’ll be getting into those questions soon. This past few weeks has been a roller coaster (more on that in the episode), but I look forward to attacking those questions with vigor, sass, empathy, and a ferocity only seen in tepid internet trolls!
