#37 This is a JUICY one. Get ready to dive into the question ‘how are you holding yourself back’. In the intro I explain what I mean by this question and how I think it can be used as a powerful tool for personal growth. Throughout the episode I reflect on my answer to this question, first addressing the topic of limiting beliefs (such as ‘no pain no gain’ and ‘too good to be true’). We then chat about people pleasing and the realization that we can’t control other peoples’ feelings. Next up we turn to unlearning certain habits, such as not resting enough, not having trust that things will work out, and holding onto the things which don’t matter. Finally, we finish up by talking about perfectionism and the importance of being super mindful of whose opinions we take into account.
