It all starts with that very first, "You're a dork," or "Be a man,' and from then on we as men question the image of who we are in our own minds. Struggling day-in and day-out to embrace and love ourselves, often doing more damage than good to our self-image. Yet, when we begin to accept ourselves just as we are and work on embracing our self-image, it becomes so much easier to become the man we strive to be. Everything from our physical form, to our soulful presence is rooted in our self-image. Today, yogi entrepreneur Darren Main joins me for a candid talk about men and self-image, and the lessons that can be learned when we truly embrace ourselves for who we are at any stage of life.
Darren Main is a yoga and meditation instructor and author. He facilitates workshops and gives talks on yoga and modern spirituality throughout the United States and abroad and is the host of the internationally syndicated Inquire Within Podcast and the Living Yoga Series and teaches Yoga on the Labyrinth inside San Francisco’s iconic Grace Cathedral. He currently resides in Northern California with his son Jaden.
