It’s been almost 2 years since Danny’s mom passed away, and we’ve had some time to reflect on what it means to lose a parent. Grief is complicated and weird and all-consuming and even though so many people have gone through it, there still isn’t a “right” way to experience loss. Life, and especially loss, is never quite what you imagine it would be, and nothing you could ever prepare for.
