Shownotes Transcript

Audie Cornish is an award-winning journalist and reporter who is best known for delivering us news as a co-host of NPR’s flagship news program All Things Considered for 10 years. Over the course of her career, she’s interviewed a range of subjects—from stars such as Bruce Springsteen to political figures such as senator Elizabeth Warren—and reported on major historic events, including 9/11 and the 2008 election of former President Barack Obama. Now, after almost two decades in radio, Cornish is jumping over to a new type of journalism as an on-camera anchor and correspondent for CNN. On this episode, hear how Cornish knew it was time to make a change in her legendary career and what it means to be a student after a long while as the teacher.
