a regime with lee and beautiful salem or again, either lee.

hi kim. Thanks for taking my call is a pleasure .

to be on your show what's .

going on well um I thought the probably is a person I have kind of an unique problem. I just a couple years ago retired from teaching college, had a wonderful career teaching art as a college professor, I love to travel to europe. Uh, each summer, I had the opportunity through the college to organize, promote and delete the european trip of people I had. I LED twenty of those over the.

So let me question went to what was your most favorite?

Well, my favorite country is italy. Um but austria's switch fan, they're both to wonderful. I think every country has some really wonderful things. There are the tourist things, but there are also awesome. I do a lot of reading, so I try to take people to the standard things, but also some that really unique that they probably wouldn't see on any other trip.

Yeah, whatever I travel, I always look for experiences to. So like when we were in tuscan A, I went to A A farmhouse and this woman taught me how to make a fish dish and how to make pizza and also and bus god and I was like, and IT was IT was so much fun together. So those experience, okay. So now, ledge retired, you have all this experiences behind you, putting these tours together. What do you want to do with IT?

Well, I was sitting on my deck looking at the woods, and I thought, you know, in this post covered world view is beautiful here, but I would really love to be leading people down the streets of a hilltown and task and again, and so where, as I had in years past, the back support of the college they sponsored, the two earn.

So they had that all those resources to promote and advertise IT through schedules and everything um and that was wonderful but I don't have that now. And so i'm planning a trip decided to take a group on my own in twenty twenty two next summer. And i'm just wondering if you can give me some advice on the best way to use social media to get the word out. I only take i'm only going to take a small group of twelve couples, maybe twenty four people uh and typically with the college people would assume, oh, well, you're you're taking college students well in fact, people who have money in time and resources typically are over forty. And so most of the people that I would take with the older folks.

yeah, yeah.

So how do I do that?

How do I where do I even start? Help me? Okay, well, you you can start with your own account, your own facebook account, and obviously you get the word out to your friends, who can tell friends, who can tell friends twelve couples that not a lot of people that you need to fill.

I mean, I think that would be fairly easy, especially if you could publish the literary and tell people how your tour is going to be different. Maybe you have someone on one, mean, you're be an art. We are an art history teacher or an art teacher.

actually. I top pottery and sculpture.

Oh, guess you you have, you know what? I am always so envious of you people and I say, like people with creative minds. I mean, it's really amazing and my brain does not Operate on that level.

What's forever? I mean, like my husband are are bill in a house right now and the decorators and the designers, they look at me like, you know, because they expect me to know everything and i'm like I don't do anything, just you talk to him. He picks all the colors, okay? But when he comes to when IT comes to Price, that's when you come back to me, okay? And then we'll .

figure that out. So what no.

I said what I would say is, so are you going to are you going back to italy?

I think I will. Yeah okay. I don't think it'll be just italy OK.

So what I would do, I would start, I would start a social media account with the name of the tour, whatever, tour. Lc, whatever you put together, because you should have some type of corporation to cover you for legal purposes, just if Y I, business owner to business owner, and then start posting pictures of your previous trips and start posting pictures of what you've done enticing people, that this is the type of experience that they have.

And what you're putting together, lee, is the experience. And that's param out right now because, you know, nobody wants to sit on a global bus going from place to place, right, getting up at six o'clock in the morning and seeing twenty different things door in the day. And then at the end of the day you're minds spinning. You know, i'm talking about grade.

Absolutely, absolutely.

That is really old, really quick. So that's where I would focus on the itinerary. Things know maybe have some zoom calls, some zoom meat calls, as well as for to have like to to start explaining what the tours about.

Now there are a couple of sites I want to tell you about, one is called plant fy, and another one is called traffic. And what these are visible ally made or for small tour Operators because that's what you are right now, right? You're a small tour oter.

And IT enables IT makes IT amazes me out that we have this capabilities right now, but IT enables you to go in there, set up the itinerary, share the iteration, start getting leads, so to speak, and then keep yourself organized that way. So what i'll do is i'll post some links over in the Q, N, A message word. And so this way, leave and get started if you have any questions whatsoever as you go along.

just know that i'm there. Thanks a time for listening. Now if you have questions, comments or just a digital dilema, find your way to command or a command hit that email.
