The cat never goes outside. So SHE got the entire salt lake city neighbor who, just looking for her catch, SHE posted signs everywhere. SHE went crazy on social media.

I mean, because he loves this cat. Well, a few days after he started posting all these science, just a week ago, he got a message that her cats microchip had been scanned. Yes, I remember she's a new tab.

The cat was in california also. How did this little cat get from utada, california? Well, Carrying her husband ship makes some workbooks to amazon.

And somehow the cat got in the workbooks that ended up in the amazon box, can you imagine? And then got shipped back to an amazon return center. Yeah, they talking about the cats out of the box.

Oh, H, I know on that. Happy welcome, ladies and gentleman, I came coming to america, but love a digital gottest here with you. Once again.

Service members. And we salute each and every one of you. And thank you for your service, all right, every single day, even on the weekends, every single day, I wake up and then I go to at least thirty five or forty different websites to make sure that we are both up to date on what's going on in the tech world because I just changes so quickly.

And here are the top five things you need to know that are happening right now. When you start with the senate, you see the senate passed the bill forcing tiktok communists trying to parent company, bite, dance to cellar, face the band. And democrats and republicans overwhelmingly supported IT.

You say tiktok is bad for amErica because IT collects all this data that again, IT has to turn over to the communist ese government. So president biden has signed off on IT as well. Now the ban is not onna roll out until after the twenty twenty four election.

They're going to give them nine months to sell IT, and they're probably give them a three months extension. Now if they don't sell IT, the APP is gona be banned from the united states. But how exactly will that happen? They would actually have to enforce some internet blocking, which you they can do that in china with the great firework.

But that doesn't happen here in america. Moving on to number two. Wow, do you remember when you could have friends over and then you'd be able to talk politics with them without everybody getting all crazy? Well, you know, today, family split and friends quickly become enemies of both sides do not support the same candidates.

So let's talk about artificial intelligence, because he can now identify with stunning accuracy just by a photo, your face. Whether or not you're a conservative or a liberal, IT doesn't need to know anything else about you. This story is publishing the prestigious journal american psychologist and explains how an A I algorithm called V G G face to can actually determine your political views by just your face.

Now think about this widespread omeo c surveilLance and airport stores on the street, even your facebook or linton photo. It's more threatening than anyone can imagine. So here's what A I says.

Liberals have small lower faces, their chins, their lips, their noses point downwards. Conservatives have large bottom face features. And things may point up a little bit more.

You know, back in the nineteen thirties, there was that government that made a lot of assumptions too, right? A number three, I wear a lot of dresses, but in fact, i'm wearing a dress right now. And if you wear addressed, you have to be careful.

This took place at a targeting Greenville, north CarOlina. A Thomas ryan elliot, twenty one year old guy, notices that this goals bending down a target at the bottom self, and I L like anybody else would Normally do. That's when he plans his nasty little scheme.

As she's bending over, he slips his phone underneath her dress and starts recording and up skirt. Video, luckily, there was a woman also shopping a target and was like, hey, what exactly are you doing? SHE puls at her camera. Take a listen.

Excuse me, what are you doing? No, I just saw you put that underneath her dress. Absolutely you did.

You absolutely did. Then show me your family. No, we're going to call security. You absolutely did. And you were following me over in the children .

section because I have a ignite name. I really wasn't.

Yeah, yeah. He did IT. okay. One once, a hero for sure, tom silly got arrested. By the way, he just got baptizing church a few weeks ago is a voluntary elementary school teacher. Yack yack. Number four, this is why I never trusted full self driving mode when I own a tesler a motorcycle.

Les died in washington because apparently a text driver did trust his full self driving mode so much, said he was throwing ling on his phone while driving, not paying attention to the road what was going on. And he smashed right into a motorcycle at full speed, the motorcycle thrown off the bike and the car rolled over him. When police arrived, he was still under the car.

The driver told police that, quote, he put the trust in the machine to drive forehand. And he only knew he was in iraq when he heard a bang as his car lunged forward. OK full self driving mode still requires you'd be alert of the wheel.

The tesla driver, who has not been named, was booked with a charge of regular homicide. And finally, this number five, think back to the last time you took one of those tests online. You says, like I am not a robot, uh, you know the ones that we are called captious. Well, if you're in their saying cash know they simply getting harder. I don't need to just find like three traffic lights anymore or three boats, whatever may be the test are meant to weed out the box.

And y've been around since the year two thousand, but the university of irvine has found out that while humans can solve distorted text captures in nine of 1 seconds with a success rate of fifty to eighty four percent, bots, yes, the boss, they can take this test less than a second with an accuracy of ninety nine point eight percent. wow. So that's why now when you see a capsule online, it's no longer three steps with three motorcycles.

Where there may be, you have to slide a puzo peace, rotate an object or find a hidden number. You have to find a hidden number. So let me take something speaking out about bots and capture you.

I once long time ago, I once wrote a bot script to get past website security. IT managed to evade capture for a long time. Bad one.

I know alright coming up time, but amazon prime is IT worth the money. Um we have some insider secrets to bought a bad doctor online. And of course, we have all your phone calls and you have me and to end.

With cyber security solutions from vote phone, your business can hack off hackers serve your business can today vote phone business together, we can. Here's why I wanted to go right now. When you should do that right now, go to win from kim da count.

Once again, that's win ROM when from no other words in the middle, but from win from him to come. When you do that, you are gonna entered to win yeah, a brand new iphone. I know it's an incredible prize.

This is an incredible prize. Now there is a catch. You have to try at least one issue of my free newsletter once again, that's win from canada on win from kim duck com. All right, let's get this hour started with Emily and sanayi o texas high their Emily.

So I went through conference and learned that is helpful with team to set the from side at night and also you maybe some random safety truck. So for me, yeah, no problem. I can do that. Well, I went to grab the phone and do safety check and had no idea what to look for.

My friendly.

staring at their phone, you know, uncomfortable because I feel like i'm fine. But then also the same time, I don't know what to look forward to make sure that there's staying safe.

Yes, but you do have the pass code to the phone .

so you can .

open the phone yeah OK yes you know ten are tough, right? Yeah ah because especially in today with social media, there are so many stats and surveys and research that because of everything that happens on social media ates its detrimental to their development.

They get addicted to things they see things that they probably shouldn't see yes, if they like video, because the galls thin is that suddenly they may start seeing videos about how great day is to be anoxic ah and then there are all the videos of all these girls that looks so beautiful. And do you remember what I was like when you were teenage girl? I mean, you said there you like, oh my god, i'm so ugly. When really you are gorgeous, you.

To work like that again?

Yes, exactly. okay. But at that time you have no self confidence. Yeah and and then you thought, well, because you know you look at the the girl sit next day in school and she's just knocked out near like bf bar when ality IT wasn't that case.

But and now with social media is examination that because no, it's just because it's always going to be one one up and one up and one up. So smart that you're doing. Social media is the place for you to check.

You should make sure that you are their friends on all their social media accounts OK. So whatever they post that you see on your social media. Now keep in mind, the kids have a couple account. They Normally have a real account and they have a fake account.

So it's going to be up to you to figure out the fake account, if you can, just to ask them, you know what? Where is your fake account? And and they're going to say we don't have one.

It's think of the fake account as their pr version. okay? This is this can be their r account that when they applied to college, this is what they're going to say their social media account is.

So it's gonna like my son on his fake account, he had pictures of cars. He had pictures of, like, motivation posters, succeed or else, you know, one of those things and i'm like, yeah, okay, we're all the prank videos. Okay, so so so of course, when you open the phone, you're onna look at, you're going to look at their text messages.

You're look at any emails and look at their social media accounts and then there are also some other things that may not be so obvious. And like, for example, one is A A calculator rap and you go said there and go a look at her go, she's just so into calculus SHE download the best calculator APP in the world. Okay, by by typing in certain numbers are entering certain numbers.

Is that I could be a secret porn stash OK 这样的。 So so how do you find those? Is that on their phone, you look at their APP stores and you see what they're download. okay. And then on the apps, you know, there days are like secret lockers and so they might just be might look like a photo APP IT might look like a game IT might look like so whatever IT is, you just take a look you're in there. Is are they on iphone or or android?

Enjoy that's hard.

Yeah IT does is otherwise you could share an apple I D now there there are these spy programs, one that's been out there forever called m spy and um and IT also works on iphones too, but way but IT gives you a full accounting of every single thing that's on the phone. I mean, anything that they do on the phone, you're gonna get a copy of calls, caught the text messages. What they brows, of course, look at the browser history to most kids are going are smart enough to go in cognitive if we're going to do anything online. So it's it's it's difficult, but it's also very necessary that, you know, you have that one on one conversation with them, right?

Yeah, i'm gna .

take a look. And if I see something that I don't like, i'm going to take the phone away. You have that they are going to clean up the phone every single change that you can. You know, if you think about this, I mean, what would you have done if you were given a smart phone at that age?

I tried to be smarter, but I don't know if I would have been able to.

I mean, yeah OK. I mean, in a lot of parents ready to disadvantage because the kids know more, they do yeah. And so that's why, that's why the whole idea is that a at night that know what I used to have, what I called the a key box IT was a box that looked like a book that we would just throw the car keys and whenever came home, but that's where the phone went at night. Um you some parents have some parents have such a hard time, they have to turn off the internet night because but then if the kids have a phone is going on cellar .

and you can you can .

do all that on the router, by the way, you can turn the the wifi honor off at certain times. There's they are settings in there. Um but why don't why don't you take a look at the phone anyway? You know just take a look.

And then what i'd like you to do is to call me back, tell me what you found, tell me what problems you ran into and they will take into the next level. But you know what, you are such a smart mother. You really are, and i'm so proud of you for doing this.

There's a lot of parents well, because you're like, I don't want to fly with the kids over the phone and it's easier not to look yeah well, that's when the kid gets in trouble. Emily, once again, thanks for your call. All right, some of vacations right around the corner.

The best database, your flights per expedia is on a sunday. That's right on a sunday. And also you want to start using incognito mode in your browser and also a VPN, because this way tracking cookies don't drive up Prices.

Now for the best deals you want to plug in your detail, say a google flights at skyscanner or kayak, they let you easily compare Prices across airlines. I'd be sure to set up alerts on these websites because they do the work and they're gonna. You know, when is the cheapest time to book again? That's K X sky scanner or live flights.

All right, coming up. We have some great tips you don't want to miss and of course, more of your phone calls. And b. Kim, commander.

When you visit a statute's, big and diverse is texas. There are a million different trips you can take. Let's say you've got an appetite for why water cut acting, you can get your own.

So this is what they call the deal river trip to texas. Or maybe you have a natural al appetite. I'll take upon a brisky, six ribs, three links of sausage and A A piece of the compi trip to texas. Go to travel texas that come slash. Get your own for the only trip to texas that matters yours.

All right, coming up, we have a great tip, is amazon prime worth the money? And then later on, some insider secrets on how you can check out a doctor online. And before we get all of that, you know how we buy movies and shows on amazon prime and apple and youtube and voodoo and all the other platforms.

IT turns out even after you pay for them, you don't really own them. A lot of people don't realize this. Ah here's your rule to remember when you buy movies on the streaming platforms, you're not purchasing the content, you're only buying the right to watch them and that right can be taken away SONY.

Playstation did this recently. So what can you do for those movies that you truly, really love? Oh, I know you're gonna like, but I don't have a DVD anymore.

Well, you have to go old school, get A D V D player. Buyer, er, moves on. Physical mediates really the most reliable option for the long term.

Well, the other day I had a chance to speak to a wildly popular, huge youtube. I got like three millions subscribers. He has a millions subscribers on witch.

His name is kabuga. And what he does is can beating it's where he makes scammers think that they're coming him. So you know, he may call a fake tech support number and he kind of stringing them along. And then he has all these characters that he plays. But the whole idea is that while the scammers are talking to him, they're not really actually scamming somebody else. Now he's been doing for a while and he, as I mentioned, he slips into different voices in characters and he makes the scammer super angry and I really wanted to know like how we got into IT and um you know what are the the best cases that he has helps sober the worst ones and has ever made the scammers just like come after so here take a listen what how did you get started doing this and why?

Yeah so it's about seven years ago now um I first heard about tax support games. I was told, uh I was actually watching some youtube videos there was a recording of an uh, elderly old man it's called hey, it's li. They were playing IT to a some telemarketers, and the title was texting ort scammer gets angry at recording.

I have never heard a tex support scans and a software engineer millennial. And I kind of had this moment where I realized, uh, if I didn't know that this exist IT, surely my grandparents don't know that this exists, and my grandparents had alzheimer and dementia. And I kind of knew if one of these scammers call them, they would definitely fall for IT. And that was the Spark that made me say, maybe I should try to do something about IT.

And so is that how you came up with anna?

Yeah, anna is definitely is based off of my grandparents and the stories they used to tell me. I found out actually this year that my great grandmother's name was adam. I had no idea. So, uh, it's just perfect yeah in general, I when I call this game's, i'm trying to play the perfect victim and and sadly to them, a lot of times that is an older individual so I actually tried to manipulate my voice so a little bit older like I don't have teeth.

So now through the years, you have evolved with your channel and how you are approaching these scams. And what you've done on the back end with this entirely made up system, like everything they think they're seeing on your computer, is fake and it's a facade and is not real. Well, how did how did you figure that? What was the birth of that idea to .

do IT that way?

That's good question. yeah. So it's volte over time. Like said IT, IT didn't start off day one with all of these tools.

IT was just well, if microsoft says I have a virus on my computer, they want to connect to my computer, and I knew I didn't want them on my actual personal computer, that's one of the worst you can do. And I knew enough about making what's called a virtual machine or A A fake computer. But then they might ask me to log into my bank account.

And i'm not, i'm gona log into my real bank out. So I had to make a fake bank account. And and over the years, they invest me to do lots of things, like show my web cam so I can make a fake limited web cam to make me look order.

Or now they're doing all the crypto investments. So i've had to make fake crypto accounts or or all sorts of things. It's been in the I like a cat and mouse. And I imagine tom, Jerry.

a little bit, so walk us through that.

Like how do you do this scan? Pay a lot of IT is just calling or texting or responding to emails that you probably know are too good to be true. People from like a lot of different viewers will send in emails or messages and say, my grandmother got this message.

Or in fact, you were just talking about one of your viewers who was asking you about that investment website. I would just sign up for the website, right? I would.

I would sign up. I would start messaging them. I would start calling them on the phone and playing as if I wanted to do all the investments. Just the schemers don't realize that none of the information I give them is real, and everything i'm doing is to waste their time or gather information about them.

Now explain how you figured out this is, I never thought that we get to this point, that you have scammers sending you videos of them with cucumbers and spongers and slippers on their heads. How did you kit at that point? How do you convince someone trying to steal from you to send those videos?

Good question. Um honestly, a lot of IT comes down to using their game tactics against them. So for these guys, they believe that i'm trying to best maybe one big coin, which is a significant amount.

不是。 And if they're thinking all I gotta do is go through a couple hoops and i'm about to have tens of thousands of dollars, well, if someone who you think is customer support at this legitimate crypto til exchange is telling you, if you put a banana on your head, you'll get one bit coin, I would do that right? Like you would do that as well.

that sort of, you know, what does anybody have a banana? But what on my head right now? So have you ever been threatened by any the scammers .

I have over the years, particularly with the government and poster schemes? So the the schemers ers who pretended to be the I R S or the social security department or something, they would be threatening me, saying that I would go to prison, that they would kill my family, all kinds of things. But typically i'm playing a character so I can kind of separate myself from that.

They're threatening the old man character playing, not me. Most of them don't realize who I actually am, and I kind of try to keep IT that way. And that's why originally wear the sunglasses because I thought I would be more private.

Yeah, I got news for your kid. It's not it's not working for you that way. Yes, no, I can still know who you are.

I mean, so what's the longest time? Could that you've been talking to the scammer? Just kind like strong them along and strong them along .

and from them along. Yeah so the longest so far is around fifty four hours, wasn't just one phone call that was over the course of months and months. So typically what what happened is I might spend three, four hours on the phone and then the cameras will asked me to go to my bank in, draw money, or buy them, give cards and send them clipt.

In some way, they want to take my money. And then I come up with an excuse. Something happens. I redeem the gift card on my computer, and I wire the money to the wrong account or something like that and and then they just call me the next day and and they think, well, I guess we're onna try again.

And so sometimes over the course of weeks or months, I can get a whole call or distracted talking to me. They think that i'm the best target. And uh, sort of some cost fallacy comes in as well. They think we ve already been thirty hours tire k time, maybe all money.

alright. Is amazon prime really worth the money? Okay, it's one hundred and thirty nine dollars a year. So if you're diving until the extras, if you want to skip the adds on prime video, that's an extra two ninety nine a month.

What about getting groceries delivered from whole foods and other places? That's nine, ninety and ninety nine for music lovers. Amazon music unlimited nine, ninety, ninety months s see, I will just keep you going up and up and up.

The wall street journal says a fully loaded prime membership with all the perks is about three hundred and twenty dollars a year. Ohh so if you haven't checked how much you're paying for prime, you might want to do that. Now are still to come. We have more every phone calls and more tips, tricks and secrets you don't want on a mess here on the kim tomato show.

When you visit a state as big and diverse texas, there are million different trips you can take. Let's say you've got an appetite for a White water cut acting. You can get your own.

So this is what they call the dells river trip to texas. Or maybe you have a natural al appetite. I'll take upon a brisky, six ribs, three links of sausage and A A piece of the compi trip to texas. Go to travel texas that come slash. Get your own for the only trip to texas that matters yours.

All right to see laun and saint Louis. Glad to have you with us.

So my question relates to a friend, but I have um a good friend who is the president of a nonprofit foundation and the foundation is tasked with um maintaining information uh historical information about a group of islands that where there are there is um there are centuries of history in these islands of people .

and .

all sorts of things island alford land.

You know what? I'd love the channel islands, oh my gosh, you know channel is are so beautiful. I just I was um I have A A second home and cent of arba oh .

well then you know all about him. And um if you're inside a barber SHE just opened a museum is called the Christmas channel I um Christmas channel island center in carpenter ia and IT just open and IT is awesome and you really need open to the public is beautiful.

Well how to go there?

Check IT out yes you will you um so he obviously has um she's collected um information about these islands for decades and SHE uh foundation itself has restored buildings and historic equipment collections, artifacts that set up on the islands and she's always doing research on the island SHE has an archive. st. SHE has I don't even know how million many millions of arrival um pieces in this museum. So um but my question relate to um a website that he has developed like an and cycle pedia and for the islands and he has um over eighteen thousand pages record .

and information .

and over ten thousand images in this in cycle pedia about the islands and the people, the artifacts, the personal stories um everything that you can find uh about the islands and people are continuously sending your information and and SHE eh has people doing research so this in you know he never end she's been doing this for decades and um I K i've asked several times um how do you um how do you protect this information .

on the internet .

backed up and he D I said that that doesn't sound that safe enough to me. You need to have you need to have something that's really back in the up in case anything ever happens and you can recover IT. And IT needs to be done on a regular basis. So that's why calling you to find .

out what he would should do. Well, what an ambitious project. Wow, that's awe. Then the a that mean sand is just so pretty, so pretty is my your friend, friend of mine just had a major birthday and I said, this is what we're gonna for your birthday. I am going to take you on my boat to sana crews. We're going, we're going to go hiking for the day and I take the boat back. But I just so .

I just got married on that.

I did you really yes, that's so so all right. So um you know there are services that can back up websites. I consider you a list to those.

There's also a place that I would like you to like you to tell her about archive dot work that's archive. Oh, and the guy was enter a is an amazing mad. It's his mission in life to have a complete backup of every website in the world.

Oh my god. And so so if you you tell him, listen, this is my website. I want you, you fill a form. No, it's really it's all automated, just felt for and then every day, every other day, whatever, maybe IT goes and IT IT captures a new copy of that website. This copies the entire new copy.

And then and then you can go back in time and you can see what that website looked like five years ago, two months ago, whatever may be. And another idea would be if he has an already is to put this into wicky commons and also wikipedia as a resource, so that if people are looking things up, and especially now that A I is using wikipedia and Vicky commons to fuel its knowledge base, is that is that he may become a resource. So somebody said, you know what have? Why were their cows on sanda cruise island? right?

Yeah.

that he can come back. And you know that her website would come up with that information than A, I would source her as that place for that information because which which is the whole history of the islands, is, you know, I saw a little bit of IT in the sandbar and maritime museum, where they have just a little display there. And I had no idea that ever happened.

Yeah, well, as if you go to this uh, center, this museum, that this that he is created, you'll really be impressive. It's stunning.

You know where i'm gona put you on hold? Okay, Laura, and then I want you to tell Amber the name of that museum again so that this way I can make sure that I put IT on my note that says that to do this next time I drive through carbon to rea, when we're talking about really right now is the central california coast. And so I said about, if you're unfamiliar with this area, is about a two hour.

I want to have two hour drive north of los Angeles law. Once again, thank you for your call today. Alright, you know what they say? Who would they call the person who graduates last in their medical school, the last person doctor? right? So that's why you need to go online and check him out.

okay? Beyond the online reviews, which can be games, you need to do some digging. So you start by verifying your dog credentials.

Are they certified? How long have y've been practicing? The american board test medical specialties has an online database where you can check the doctor is board certified in their specialty. So head to certification matters dot org. You type in your doctor's name, and then you can check to see if your doctor is also gotten into trouble, how every state has a medical board that licenses and overseas medical practitioner. So just search for your dark's name on the board's website again, certification matters dark, or just search for your doctor's name on the boards website and don't forget to enter to win that iphone at wind from king da com.
