Sakinah is a LMT in New York and recently did a talk for Healwell (healwell.org)) which is an organization that teaches massage therapists to provide safe and effective care and advocates for access to that care as well as for a larger role for therapists within healthcare. Sakinah is passionate about bringing the conversation about disparities in maternal care especially when it comes to the treatment of black bodies.
