So everything you need to know from course modules, the live training details and all the materials you receive is packed into the description box for you. So you can just click on the link there and find more resources and insights on our landing page.

And a quick reminder: Everything is only open until Sunday, April 21st. This is when we close Air4Designers again because we are kicking things off with the new cohort right after that. And this means, of course, no more signups once we start. So if you want to join, make sure to do it this week.

This is actually the second time AI for Designers is opening. And after the last opening, I got a wave of messages from folks who missed out. And once a cohort starts, there's no possibility to join later because we are diving into this in a group and we are going to support this group for the next six weeks.

So you can't really join later. You need to be there from the very beginning and then, yeah, just really continue with the group basically. And in this podcast episode, I want to share five things that you need to know about the chorus that's interesting for you to make a good decision if this is the right choice for you.

Before we are starting with these five things you need to know, I just want to answer real quick the most asked questions about AI for designers. So first of all, what exactly is AI for designers?

And for those who are new to the podcast or maybe not following me on Instagram, AI for Designers is an intensive six-week program where you, as a designer, learn how to use AI and smartly integrate it into your workflow. So really use the tools strategically. So less fluff and buzzwords and more really hands-on practice.

And I always say that this is the perfect shortcut to really future-proof yourself, your career and really take this next step into the future. Not just for productivity with clients but also to really contribute more significantly to discussions and offer better advice when you talk to stakeholders, to clients. AI is everywhere and I feel a lot of designers don't really know how to talk about these things.

So generally designers who understand and really use AI can demand higher rates and are of course in a high demand also on the job market. You're building a solid foundation for your future as a designer. So the next question: Who is AI for designers for?

I would say it's for three main groups. First, in-house and agency designers who feel a little bit behind the curve with AI. Maybe they don't have a design team where there's a lot of discussions and experimentation around these tools and they really feel like they are behind.

Then also freelancers, if you've already self-employed or thinking about it, AI is a must-have. And I can talk about that from my own experience. I am a freelancer for seven years now and AI has been a huge push for my whole business the last one and a half years. And the last group are design entrepreneurs who are really looking to try out new things or new ventures with AI.

Because it's all about real-world case studies and practical application to enhance your venture design, to really think about the future. And the last third question is: Does it make sense to start with AI for designers now or rather wait until the end of the year or maybe next year?

And my opinion is crystal clear. The sooner the better. So start now. Start yesterday actually. Things move so quickly and waiting really means falling behind. So let's lay down the foundation together and keep building from there. Your future self will definitely thank you for that.

If you do it with AI4 designers or on your own, that's also fine. But my recommendation is to really dive into these topics and learn about these things because they will change how we design as a design community, as a UX designer. And now let's talk real quick about the five things you need to know if you are thinking about joining AI4 designers.

The first thing and I think this is super important is to know that AFO Designers comes with a huge library on on-demand videos. I am all about flexibility. So you've got your learning videos for each module. So we have those six weeks together and each week focuses on another topic. So all of the models are building up on each other.

So each week you got learning videos that you can watch on demand whenever it suits you. Can be doing breakfast or when you cozy up in bed at night. So you really find your own time that works for you where you watch these videos and practice a little bit. So you're totally flexible whenever and wherever you want to watch these videos.

The second thing that you need to know about AI for Designers are that we have live trainings. And I think those are crucial. For this cohort, we expanded from four to seven live trainings where you can apply everything that you learn from the videos, from your own experiments and really dig deeper into the tools and the workflows.

all in real time, all live, we together as a group. With the opportunity, of course, to ask questions on the spot, to network with your peers, but also to reuse that knowledge and build this foundation and work on your own projects. The feedback from my cohort one has been that they absolutely love the live trainings. There has been a huge, like a super positive atmosphere during these live trainings and it's

I also improved the training. So in the last weeks or so, I came up with, of course, new workshops. I will quickly go over it, what kind of workshops we are going to do, but also about the tools and things that we will learn in these workshops. So those would actually be, yeah, almost like a mini course.

We will get started with the first, which is like a kickoff workshop where we also network and really set the stage for everything that's ahead of us. And you will do a live GPT training. So where you build your own GPTs inside ChatGPT. So we will use this and you can design your own assistance without any code needed.

Then we dive into image generations and mid-journey. We do a workshop around that. So where you really learn how to create visuals, how to create the right prompts to get the visuals that you need. And you will see that there is a huge difference between just putting something random in it and getting random outputs that you can't use, of really building these things strategically and knowing what is possible and also what is not possible.

Then we will have an AI design workshop, which is some kind of like a mini design thinking workshop together in a group where you work on a design challenge. This is so much fun. People loved it in the last cohort.

Then we will have an AI workflow workshop where we will look at tools that help us to automate super long workflows with just one click basically and we'll try a lot of things out there. Then we will dive into the connect calls where we have reflection sessions and really think about the future. Then we also have the end presentation where we show our project.

Because during the course, you're going to work on your first AI project that you can use later on for your portfolio. And with each exercise and each assignment that comes with each week, you're going to build this project up. And in the end, you have this presentation, you have this final project that you can use for a case study or for clients to show that you have experience in the area.

The third thing that is super important for you to know is that we in AI for Designers have a supported private community. Of course you can go alone, but you can also go in a group. You can join our vibrant community to learn and to network together.

And I once heard about this amazing quote. Unfortunately, I don't know from whom it is, but I really love this. It says, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. And this resonates so much with me because it's not about being fast. It's about going far and continuously learning and improving. Not just doing one thing very fast, but continuously learning and improving.

So I think it's important to have amazing people around you who inspire you, who give you feedback, who you can network with to really build this network of other designers who think like you, where you can ask questions and where you also get feedback from.

on your designs, on questions. So the community aspect is super important and a lot of people underestimate that. They say, I don't really need the community, but in the end they say the community has been one of the best things in this course. I'm also, of course, a part of that community. I will give you feedback. I will be there for questions. So whenever you have a question,

There will be people who help you. Either I will do that or my team will do that or other people from the community, which is so helpful and so inspiring to really get you motivated. The fourth thing that is super important for you is the access time. For me, it was important that you still get access through all the course materials, although the course might be already over. And this is the reason why you get access with the course content for half a year.

So even after the course ends, you can go back and continue learning at your own pace. So you don't need to feel stressed. You can rewatch these things whenever you want. If you feel you want to extend these half years, just reach out to me and we can definitely figure something out. And the last and super important thing is number five, which is the course materials. And there are plenty of extra goodies.

We have an exclusive notion planner tailored for each video and module with summaries and templates. This is really a vast resource area that's worth the course fee alone, I would say, with a lot of insights, prompts and templates that you can use on the go basically.

So I can say that AI for designers is your shortcut to staying ahead. Of course you could google everything your own but I think for me especially as someone who doesn't have a lot of time the investment is super important for me. So I always calculate my own rate or a basic rate. Let's say like basically our rate would be like maybe 100 euros something like that.

I think this is like a basic hourly rate for a designer. And if you calculate this hourly rate for maybe you spend like two days of just like diving into AI and googling on your own basically without guidance, without proper videos that you can use, without the live training. So just on your own. Just calculate that. It would be...

almost double at what you would pay for AI for designers so really think strategically about the investment that saves you so much time than just like doing everything on your on yourself or on your own so I always try to calculate in my head when I'm doing investments like how much time is this going to save me because time is money and time is so important we have a lot of things that are going on in our lives we really want to save time

And yeah, just a general reminder, if you want to sign up, we are closing on Sunday and then the doors will stay closed until at least the end of the year because during summer I will promise you nothing is going to happen. Summer I will be away, people will be away, so this is really your last chance. And yeah, there will definitely be nothing happening over the summer.

So if you have any questions, feel free to email me [email protected] and my team or ARB will be happy to answer your questions and also advise you if AI for Designers is right for you. So maybe you have some questions, you're not sure if this is the right course for you, reach out to us. We will give you an honest review, an honest opinion if this is a good investment for you. And one thing that I definitely want to highlight is

Even if you don't have so much time, you will at least have 30 minutes each day. It can be during breakfast where you watch the videos and do your first experiments or maybe when the kids are in bed, when you're sitting on the sofa and watching the videos. You will have these 30 minutes and your future self will definitely thank you for it to spend the time now and really build this foundational knowledge.

So I wish you a wonderful, a fantastic week and I can't wait to see you in AF4Designers. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, either support at patriciadriners.de or of course just text me on Instagram ux.patricia and I'm happy to answer the questions and get back to you. Now, thank you so much for listening and hear you in the future.
