Alright guys, so tonight's episode, April gets a little crazy. Everybody's getting a little crazy. I mean, do you blame her? She needs to lighten up. She is dealing with this
in her life. She only has possibly a few weeks to live, but I think she's going to live far after that. I think she's going to live for like 10 seasons, you guys. I wouldn't go that far. She's still going to be like 26, though. She has a lot to deal with in her life. She has the treatment that the traditional treatment for her cancer didn't work, so she has to seek other things. And I don't know, like the doctor was just like, just go look online and find one. That made me so mad.
So mad. Isn't there a book or something? I don't know because these are trials. So this is like something that people are still developing. So it's online. But should she give like a list of reputable ones? And I imagine that April's a little bit smarter than me. But.
But still, like, I couldn't read through a clinical trial and be like, I know this is going to work. Yeah, that's exactly what this means. Yeah. Because she didn't go to med school. She doesn't know anything. I wouldn't either. She's a journalist. Right. Like, she can do as much research, but at the end of the day, you don't know what's going on. I wouldn't either. Right.
At the same time, the doctors don't really know what's going on either. So it's like a win-win. But they're a little more educated. They're a little more educated than she is. Right. And I sure hope, you know, Dr. Hamburg, this is her focus. I hope that she's a little bit more savvy about
To just say, go and find it on the internet. I feel like that's what she did. She totally did, but come on. Use Google, April. Use Google. Yeah, right? Go online. Right. She needs to be the one that says, April, here are the top three. That's what I had to say. Please pick one of these that you feel the most comfortable with. That's what I felt. At least I would have enjoyed a, oh yeah, I sent a text to Uncle George. That would have been smart, April. Oh, yeah. That's true. The whole time I was wondering why she didn't call.
That's true. That's true. I understand that he's only a reoccurring character. He's not in the cast. But a phone call without a voice on the other end would have sufficed. Agreed. Agreed. It's true. You're completely 100% right. If she was just like, uh-huh. Okay, thanks, Uncle George. Bye-bye. Right. I don't know. Let's talk about her and Beth. They went to Bermuda to have a little fun, let loose, and binged.
like so uptight in this episode. Oh no, no, no, no. I am siding with Beth on this one. Okay, I think that I think that April was being extremely selfish. Like, I mean, yes. But she has a right to be.
to be. No, but listen, listen. She has a right to need some time. She has a right to need her friends surrounding her. But does she have a right to steal her friend, guilt her friend into flying to Bermuda? I mean, couldn't they have just gone to the Hamptons? It's closer. Right. That's true. I mean, Bermuda
for me to happen. And when she said, when she's like, I have this important phone call and no, like, no, April totally played the cancer card and guilted her into it and I didn't think that was very fair. Yeah. I agree. I agree with that. And Beth has always been there. Of course Beth is going to do whatever April wants and April needs to be a little more considerate. Yeah. Right. Right.
I get where April's coming from. I don't understand why it was April's fault that she missed her conference call. Thank you. Yeah, that's true. That's kind of where I'm coming from, too. I feel like that wasn't April's fault. Like, Beth needs to be a little bit more responsible. If you're going to go out and party, set your alarm. Yeah, plug your phone in. Right, make sure that you know you have to. She was just mad, I feel like. She was just mad, and it's not April's fault. You know, she's blaming April. You were supposed to remind me. No, that's not April's job. And then she left her cancer friend in Bermuda. Yes!
their friend in Bermuda that has cancer behind. Come on now. I'm like, she could pass out. What if she had passed out? What if something had happened? We've seen her. Yeah, but then she almost went by herself too. So you, I feel like you kind of like have to see both sides of it. Like, yeah, it's a bad thing that she left
April there by herself. But at the same time, April was just like, well, you know, if you don't go. She should have called Leo and Beth should have called Leo and been like, hey, I have to leave. I have to go back to work. Will you fly down here? It's not like he doesn't have the money. Wait, no, no, no, no. When Beth was like, I'm going to go, April should have been like, okay, I'm coming with you. I'm really sorry this turned out to be so crappy. Let me get my bag. Would you leave her here to
If my best friend in the entire world was that mad at me that she was leaving Bermuda, getting on a plane, the correct response is to go with her. No, if she was mad at me, I'd be like, you can leave. Thank you. You can leave first and I will leave after. Yeah, I don't want to leave with an angry friend on the plane. But she didn't even say anything. She was just like,
I loved April's response, like, with her little hat. I'm just like, okay, bye. And Beth's face was exactly my face. Like, what the?
But she walked up there with her bag. I know, that was weird. Okay, so when April took off her wedding ring to go flirt with these guys. I thought she was going to lose it. I did too. I totally thought she was going to lose it. I was like, she's going to lose Grandma Hendry's wedding ring that's worth a good chunk of money. Right, and I thought, this is going to be the end of her and Leo because he is going to be so mad. Wait a minute, I...
I'm going to get a little deeper here. I think this is foreshadowing because obviously she's not happy being engaged. She still wants to have a little fun in her life. Yeah, I don't know if that's the right, yeah. It's just that, like... She's young. Yeah, she's young. She's got a life to live. She doesn't want to be tied down. She's never dated. She's never been on a vacation. Yeah, she's never been on a vacation. She doesn't know what it's like. And I think that Leo would understand where she was coming from. She didn't initiate that kiss with that guy. Thank you. That's what I was just going to say. She did not...
Okay. As a married and engaged woman. She just wanted to smoke and have a little fun, okay? Yeah. It wasn't like she went out to, like, throw...
flirt with the guys and make out with them. Yeah. It just happened. Like, if you told your husband, like, oh, I went on vacation and some guy kissed me but I pulled away, would he be like, oh my god, Heather, I'm so mad at you. He probably would have been like, why didn't he see the ring? What an ass. Like, but then I would have been like, oh, I took it off. Then he'd be really pissed at me. I'm like...
The ring is there to ward off guys. That's what it's for. But it was warding off too many. Like, she was just trying to make friends and have fun. It's not like she was like, let me see who I can sleep with tonight. I don't know. She did look kind of miserable, though, sitting there not having fun because she was engaged.
Which, okay, another question. Why didn't she just go with Leo? Right, I don't know. Down to Bermuda. She wanted a girl's dress. Good point. I thought about that. Anyway, moving on. Okay, so we love bringing you guys here, all of our podcasts and our After Buzz shows for free. So Heather has a little something to tell you all. If I can work the, we have a prop tonight, guys. Okay. Ooh, fancy. So there's this new app. It is called Next Issue. Looks like this.
Oh, it makes a sound. I don't know if you can hear that, but it went...
Anyway, basically, yes, I'm getting there. I'm getting there. Basically, it is literally the Netflix of magazines. For $10 a month, you get access to unlimited amounts of magazines. And since you want Cosmo so bad, and SGP is rocking it. You not only get the most recent issue, you get like a bajillion issues. And all you do, you download it.
I'm not going to download it. But anyway, you download it onto your device, your tablet, your phone, your computer, and then you have magazines with you on the go for $10 a month. It's actually a pretty good deal because magazines cost like what? Like $5? Yeah, each, each. And who needs all those magazines sitting on the back of your toilet? That's where mine are. So...
TMI. See, that's not just me. It's not just me. Rolling Stone. Exactly. Better Homes and Gardens. I think that might be on the list. Do what? Now you can keep them all together. Yeah, exactly. They're all in one spot. You can go back and look at all the different archives, the latest issues, and like I said, $10 a month. You can get it at the App Store, Next Issue, or at nextissue.com slash abtv.
I might just, you know, you guys continue. I'm going to look at my Cosmo. I know. I'm going on vacation.
I'm going on vacation tomorrow. I'm like, I better download this before tomorrow. Yeah, if you're on a flight, you need all these different... A flight is three magazines, like, at least. At least. And that's ten bucks. That's thinner than one. I know. Perfect. All right, so let's get back into the show. We need to talk about Brenna because... Talk about someone else who I'm mad at. Why are you mad at Brenna? I feel like...
this episode, what was the name of the episode? Age of Consent or something? I feel like it should have been like Everyone is Selfish This Week. I feel like that should have been the name. But I don't feel like she was being... I mean... No. I get Sarah's thoughts on this, but... Okay. Brenna has had a rough couple of high school years. She finally feels...
at home in her high school. She has a good group of friends that she's learning things from. Yeah. And she doesn't want to stay home like she used to. I feel like that's not being selfish. Like, she likes school. You're learning something. Yeah, but her tuition is probably at least $40,000 a year. But when you're talking about, okay, we can either stay at this fancy, stuffy private school or sell the house. Yeah. I mean, honestly,
I see where Sarah's coming from. I get that, but she has the college money. I don't understand. Why don't they use that now? And I don't understand why Sarah's initial instinct was to be like, I cannot afford to keep Brenna in this school. Let me contact the school and see what they have as far as financial aid next year. So that she can finish out her senior year there. I think maybe she's getting to that point. I don't know. I don't know. Because it seems like that, I don't understand why that isn't... Exactly. And I feel like if she...
if she has two more years of high school, she doesn't want to go to college, use that money now. Yeah. Like, if she can take out financial aid, everybody else... But is Brenna responsible and mature enough to understand that that money was for her future and if she uses it now, that she's not going to have it? And everything that April had...
she's not going to have. Right. But if they have four years of college saved up for, then they still have another two. Exactly. And, I mean, that's something. Yeah, and that's her responsibility. Like, if that's what she chooses, that's her consequence, and if she can't pay for it. Then she has to work her ass off to get a scholarship. Exactly. Maybe she can submit to a film festival. Maybe this film festival, she's going to win and get some, oh, that's predictions. Hold on. You haven't said anything. Yeah, because all of you guys are just arguing.
arguing so positively about this. I mean, I agree with you guys. I feel like, no, they shouldn't, you know, sell the house. But you guys are right. They do have college tuition saved up. And she did say she didn't want to go to college. I feel like if April and Leo are now together, then I feel like he should probably be paying April's medical bills. But I also feel like April
should do something. Yeah, but Leo doesn't have his own money. That's his parents' money. So it's not like he can be like, hey guys, can you give me my check early so I can pay for my girlfriend's medical bills? I think he should ask his parents to pay because they're struggling. Well, when they're husband and wife, that's his responsibility. Wait, you guys, the hospital wing is named after the Hendrys. Hello? Yeah, how come she has medical bills? She's about to be a Hendry and she'll be free. Right.
Well, she's not a Henriette. Well, they're going to get married within 60 days. No, they didn't get the license. They didn't get it. But they still might go get it. Whatever. Anyway, moving along, I just feel like April should be doing something, too. Like, maybe she needs to take on some... You don't agree with me. She needs to take on some...
I feel, I mean, no, she doesn't need to do it as a demanding job as she was doing at the paper. But she could be doing something part-time. She could be doing, like, what Beth was doing. It would help her. Exactly. She wants to discover herself, okay? She needs to discover herself and find a new career path, like, and help out a little bit. I just feel like it's so irresponsible of her. Her mother is dealing with all this stuff, and I'm just going to fly away to Bermuda. I just felt like it was so irresponsible.
Self-made. Wasn't it already paid for, though? No. Didn't they put it, like, a while back, but then they couldn't take the trip? I don't remember if they bought it or not. I remember they were supposed to go, but didn't.
I don't think so, because she was like, do you want to come with me? I just looked up... Oh, the flights are cheap is what she said. Oh, okay. But they were still probably like 500 bucks. Right. That's 500 bucks that could have been put towards... Not to mention that posh vacation home. Yeah. That was probably paid for. That was by the Hendry. Yeah. So they can't pay for medical bills, but they can pay for a really nice vacation house. I want to go to Bermuda. Listen, but I got to pay my rent, so...
Whoa, someone's a little jelly over here. I am. I want to go on vacation. Okay, so what do we think about Brenna and the film girl? Oh, they're totally going to hook up. This is not even a question. They are absolutely going to hook up. After this episode, they're definitely going to hook up. Oh, sure. Yeah. I don't like how shows like this, like, they're just like, oh, she's a lesbian. You guys have to hook up. That's not...
it works. Like, you don't just... That's why I thought it was so convenient. That's why I thought it was so convenient. Oh, Greer's gone. What am I going to do? Hello, Hotchk who just happened to start to...
start today. I mean, really. And it's not like Brenna's attracted to every girl that's not. Yes, she is. Apparently. But not every girl that's into girls. It's not like she just sees a lesbian and is like, I definitely, I need her and her and her and her. Like, that's not how it works. I feel like it's been like that. Yeah. But that's how, but that's why they play it. They just like introduce a lesbian and you're just like, well. Okay.
Okay, so we who do Pretty Little Liars, it's the same thing if you guys watch the show on there with Emily. Every time there is a lesbian on the show, Emily's hooking up with her. Every time. Regardless of what she looks like. I'm not a lesbian, but I have friends that are both gay and lesbian, and they don't go around and be like, well, you're a man or you're a woman. I don't do that with guys.
Yeah, I don't do that with guys. I'm not like, you're a man. We should get together, right? No? Right. We only have 46 minutes to watch these people, okay? Their relationships are like a hundred and four months. Exactly. So, who knows? No, they're going to hook up for sure. Totally. For sure, for sure. Breaking up is Natalie and Dominic. And... Statsies. Yeah. Statsies? I mean...
As much as I really didn't want this relationship to happen, I'm kind of a little bit sad that now they're breaking up. And I kind of don't like Dominic with Layla. Like, that whole little scene was like... The blonde? Yeah. I didn't even catch her name. She was in and out. I didn't even get her name. She was only there to...
make Dominic realize that he really does want a relationship this is my early prediction they're going to get back together but do you think he wants a relationship with Natalie or with April well you know what I want him to have clearly however I think it's going to be back together with Natalie Natalie was in this episode for like a hot second I don't know what's the guy's name at the paper I totally was drawing a blank while watching this
Oh, yeah. Man bun. He looked hot with that man bun, by the way. What's his name? He was so awkward, though, in this episode. Oh, man. What is his name? What is his name? It's on the tip of my tongue.
I was watching it earlier and I was just like, what is his name? I know. I'm a friend. We know who we're talking about. You guys know who we're talking about. Tweet us. Let us know. Give us some shade. If you're in the chat, let us know because none of us... We're totally drawing a blank on this thing. There's like four of you guys there, okay? Does his name start with a D? I think so. Yeah. Da... No, that's not it. Not the right one. Is anybody chatting with us? Yeah, they are.
Amelia, Maggie, Leanne, Pally, Alondra. What are they saying? What are they saying?
Dom still wants April. Yeah, see? Bam! He totally wants her. I knew it. And Leo could help. Especially that thing. And Leo could help. Help what? Wait, wait, wait. Explain yourself, chat person. Leo could help financially. Oh, help financially. Oh, I see, I see. I was like, help with Dominic. I don't see how this is going to work. Okay, so one thing that they kind of didn't even mention until the very end was this book that Thomas wrote. What?
And Natalie and Beth are the ones talking about it. And Natalie says it's creepy that he planned his own death. And I can't remember if it was Beth or Natalie, like, oh, well, maybe he didn't really plan his own death. Like...
Maybe he did. Who knows? Yeah. Fiction is what Beth kept saying. Fiction. Yeah. This is going to come back and bite Beth in the ass for not telling April about the book. Totally. 100%. You're so true. Maybe she just found out about it at the end of the episode, though. Maybe, but... Yeah, for sure. She needs to tell her at the very beginning of the next episode. Right. And I feel like...
they waited so long to bring the book back in this episode. Like, I'm kind of irritated at that. I wanted to know more about the book. Well, of course we all do. I don't think, I don't think that Beth is taking it seriously, though. I don't think she is at all. I don't think it's even, I don't think it's even a thought in her mind to even bring this up to April because she's just like, Natalie's being silly, like it's dumb, like whatever. Danny! Danny! Why so many D's? I don't know. Who knows?
Okay, so let's get into some predictions of what we think for next episode. What's my favorite part, y'all? I wish you guys could see all the lights in here right now. It's like I'm at a rave. I know, right?
All right, Heather. Get it on. You're on the hot seat. I have to start. You said you were excited. I know. I always get excited about this part because I can just let all my feelings lose. Well, it's because she doesn't always go first either. That's why. I know. That's why I was like, well, she can go first. Okay. Okay. Okay. I do think that Dominic had a realization because in the beginning of the episode when he was breaking up with Natalie, he's like, I just wanted to take it day by day. I just wanted to have a little fun. And then he did that and...
And obviously that's not what he wants. He wants a real relationship. Whether or not that is with April or Natalie is yet to be seen. However, I do think he's going to get back with Natalie. I think that is inevitable. I think that the dynamic between Brenna and Sarah is going to get a little hostile.
Obviously, Sarah is making some tough decisions for both of her daughters' lives. But I think that April is going to have to take precedence because this is a matter of life and death. And I think Brenna is really going to start resenting April and her mom and that decision. And because she's only 17, she's not quite mature enough to understand all of these things. So we'll have to see. But those are my predictions. You know what could be really interesting about that is if...
Brenna starts resenting Sarah and April for them kind of being like, I don't know, the authority figures in her life and making these decisions. I wonder if she's going to default to Natalie. And Natalie and April's relationship isn't as strong right now. I mean, it was never strong. It was never strong, but it's really fractured right now. And I feel like...
and Natalie are going to kind of link back up again like they were last season. And it's probably not going to be the best thing for Brenna again because she was drinking, she was partying with Natalie, and Natalie's not really the best influence on her. But I mean, she has been reading her book at the coffee house or whatever. Yeah.
Yeah. Not a good enough excuse. Well, as long as Natalie's broken up with Dominic, then there isn't really anything for them to fight about. Yeah, right. True. I think you're right. I still don't think they're ever going to see eye to eye, though. No. It's a difficult situation. If you knew that you had a sister, that your dad lied to you your whole life, and here's the product of that, staring in the face, plus she's saving your life, so you have to be nice to her. Yeah. That's a lot of
of baggage for anybody to deal with. And then you add the fact that she slept with her boyfriend. Yeah. Seriously. It's like a soap opera. Okay, Michelle, what's your prediction? Well, Heather basically said everything. I know. No, I'm just kidding. Well, as much as I do want Dominic and Natalie to get back together, I don't think they will because I feel like she's going to be really invested in this book.
So I don't know. Like, I want to say I think she's going to tell April about it and then they're going to maybe bond over it. Maybe not bond, but well, yeah. Okay. Yeah. I feel like the book could break them up like even more. I don't know if it's a mystery that they were trying to solve together, even even with the outcome, whatever the outcome is.
But I have a theory about the book. Okay, go. Well, tell it. I think that he's still alive. That's what I said. I definitely think he's alive. Wait, you missed our predictions last week. Do you think George helped? George knew? I think George knows and George helped. Yeah, I do too.
Oh my god. Because he was in the car. He was in the car. He was in the car. You're right. But don't you think that I mean when he when April got cancer he would have come out of the shower. Why would he? Why would he? That's a huge like thing to just give up and say. I feel like. Because you're an accessory to him like pretending to be dead. No no no like I'm saying his father her father would. No he didn't care about them when he left them. Why would he care about them? He didn't care. That's why like he planned
planned his own death. Or maybe he's dead. Or maybe he's dead. Maybe he planned his own death, but now he's really dead. Yeah, well, and what if he did plan his own death? That was my prediction. I think he is dead. I think he planned his own death, and I think that George was a part of it, but I don't think George knew that he was planning his own death. So I think that George, like, he...
He pushed George to do something that facilitated his death, but George, you know, didn't. Wasn't involved. George wasn't involved. I don't think George was involved. That's so risky because George could have also died. Right? Yeah. Yeah.
We just don't know is the big mystery of the show. I just want an episode about this freaking book. I don't care about anyone else anymore. I don't care about the whole season. I don't care about anyone else anymore. The whole season. I know. It's the more juicy little story. Oh, I guess someone on chat said that in the original, he's still alive. In the original what? Because this started out as a telenovela, right? Yeah. Yeah, so in the original, you said another word, but I don't know what that means. But yeah, they should get there. He's still alive. Is that it?
Oh. Very interesting. I think he's alive. Okay, so everybody tweet us what your predictions are. You didn't give your prediction. What? You didn't give your prediction. I did. You did? Yeah, I went after you. Oh. Are you sure? She wasn't paying attention, you guys. She just heard about herself. She was just so involved. No, no. I thought that you went back. Leo, I mean, she's got Dominic and April in her head with hearts spinning around them.
I got so involved with if he's alive or dead. Okay, I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry. So tweet us your predictions. Let us know what you guys think. Is he alive? Is he dead? Natalie and Dominic, are they getting back together?
