Gotta get a little jam in here first, everybody. Sing it, Scott. Sing it. Happy holidays. Woo! Welcome, everybody, to Chasing Life After Show for AfterBuzz TV. Tonight's Christmas episode was Locks of Love. I'm your host, Heather Joy Smith, and with me tonight is... Hey, guys. It's Michelle Fee. Hey, guys. I'm Kristen Strange. And if you haven't noticed, we have a very special guest tonight. Scott Michael Foster. All right. Welcome. Yes. Yes.

So tonight's Christmas episode, oh my, I don't know about you guys, but it was kind of, it had me feeling certain emotions throughout the entire thing. Like I was getting really mad at some characters and then I was like really sad at some points and happy at other points. It was kind of a little emotional. A little emotional tonight. I mean, but it always is emotional. I don't know what I'm like so surprised about. Well, I mean, it's been a while. We haven't been here since summer. It was a good recap. I knew that in between.

last season and this season or part one and part two, whatever it is. Yeah, it's been like, what, three months or so? Yeah, but what really threw me off was it was a Christmas episode in May. It's not in May. I didn't know it was in May until, and then Brenna said she sent her to summer school. And I was like, did she say summer school? So it's like be Christmas. And then April said something about being May.

I didn't realize that. Yeah. It was a little confusing at first, but yes, it was Christmas in May this episode, which kind of makes sense because it's Christmas now and holidays and everything. I like that. We should also have a Christmas in May all the time. All the time. I'm totally down for this.

Sounds like a fantastic idea. A mid-season Christmas. Yeah. That sounds good. Perfect. It wasn't weird for us because it was actually May when we shot it. So it was totally fine. So you're just like, we'll just have Christmas now. This works. Actually May. Yeah.

So, tonight's episode, your character, Leo, decided to go and get the brain surgery for his tumor, which was a huge decision for Leo to do because he was so kind of like against it this whole time. Right. I mean, he wanted to...

you know, die gracefully on his own terms. Like he said before, he didn't want to, you know, possibly become a vegetable or, you know, have it when he comes out of the surgery being worse off. So he was just going to let it go. But I think, you know, like he said in the voicemail, it was obviously whatever April said to him, you know, stuck with him. And he decided in the long run that it was probably best to fight for his own life.

Was that like a surprise for you when you got the script saying that he was going to have the surgery? Were you surprised? Yeah, I mean, I didn't know. With a character like this, you never know. You can get a script and then be like, and you're dead. You're like, well, it's been fun, everyone. But, you know, talking to Sean Smith, who's a showrunner and some of the writers, Sean Smith, who I worked with before, and just kind of going over with the character, I kind of knew this was coming, so I wasn't really surprised. Okay. But...

you know, um, just, obviously, you'll have to see what happens after this. It's going to be so long. You can't die. I have some ideas. Yeah. Oh, do you? Right. Save those for the end. Um, so,

You know, there was grandma and grandpa came to visit. And this is April's paternal side grandparents, George's parents as well, her Uncle George. And I broke down in the very, like, first three minutes of meeting these people. I was like, I do not like these people. They are annoying me so bad already. I mean, what did you guys think? I mean, was it like first meeting?

thoughts like mine or did you kind of have to like... No, I didn't like them. Yeah. From the get-go. Yeah, they were annoying and her grandpa's mean. Yes. He's not trying to be mean, I get that, but he's old and he is being mean. Yeah. And she has cancer, so you have to treat her with kid gloves when she's going through chemo because she doesn't have the energy to fight back right now. Exactly. So, that's just... You're right. Yeah. That's pretty true. And I guess now seeing the whole episode...

They kind of set it up for us not to like them because her maternal grandmother was already bickering about the two of them coming. Who we love. Yeah, who we love. And who was the better grandma. So I guess they kind of set it up looking back. But as we're watching, I was like, what the heck? This is...

Like, why do you not like them? Oh, now I know why you don't like them so much. It makes so much more sense. I felt so bad for everybody. It was like, George, why aren't you married? Why don't you have a family? Brenna, what about your boyfriend? What about your boyfriend? Yeah. But you have to understand, they don't see them all the time. I know, but they could call. You're right. That's true. That's very true. But don't you guys feel like in every family, there's always that one person or couple people who are like...

oh, you're so pretty. Why aren't you with a boyfriend now? Like everybody in my family. There's always one family member who complains they don't see other people as much as someone else does, you know, vying for the affection of the popular grandchildren. Yes, exactly. There's always at least one of those floating around. Are you one of the popular grandchildren? Of course. Absolutely. I'm just kidding. No one remembers my name. And

Until Christmas comes around. Wait, which one are you again? The guy with three names. You're the one with the Scott and the Michael and the whatever. You're like, who are you again? Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So, I mean, I get that they'd ever see her and they wanted to come and see her in the hospital and wanted her to be awake for them when they come to see her in the hospital. Right.

I just kind of felt like they were a little insensitive and pushy. Like, why aren't you going to play chess with me? It's like, clearly she's not want to play chess with you. Like, stop making her. She was such a trooper. She was. She was fine. I'll do it. Okay, let's go.

She did it. She did it. Yeah. I don't know. She is a trooper, even though Grandpa didn't think so at first. He's from another generation. He comes from the generation of you bite the leather and you go. You're going to fight your way through this and you're going to survive. And as you find out, that's later that he was just, that was his way of expressing it. Yeah. Yep.

So one other thing that we kind of saw April deal with this episode was her losing her hair, which was kind of throughout the entire episode and different stages of, you know, having to think about her hair falling out because it was falling out and having to shave her head. Does she do it right away? Does she wait? I don't know what I would do if I was ever in that predicament. I mean, that I would wait. You would wait. I would wait.

I don't know. I think I would wait. I think I would cry every time I saw the hair fall out then. I mean, yeah, maybe. But what if it was just a little bit? Some people don't lose all their hair. What if it just thins a little bit? And she has a lot of hair. She might not have lost it all. So I would have waited. But I get her being stressed by the fact of it going slowly and seeing it. You know, but I think I would wait. Yeah. Yeah.

I loved the whole Beth and April scene, though, where Beth is like, I'm going to help you, give you a little makeover, whatever. So cute between the two of them. And it's just like, I know it's...

horrible circumstances, but their relationship seems to be growing because of this and spending more time together, really talking about deeper issues and things that they would not have ever, you know, touched upon. But it was just kind of cute, the fact that, you know, Beth really wants to be there and maybe steps with the hair and cutting it and everything. And can we talk about the random volunteer who decided to volunteer at the hospital to date doctors? I think she was my favorite part. She's so funny! Yeah.

Yeah. So Beth gets a roommate with a crazy person. I knew it was too good to be true. It was. Too good to be true. I mean, I kind of figured she was a little crazy if you're going to go volunteer at a hospital just to date the doctors. Yeah. True. Well, and the way she was acting, too. I understood that she was nervous because she was volunteering and she was new, but she was just a little chatterbox. Yeah. And you could kind of tell that there was something going on there. Yeah. A little bit. A little bit. Yeah.

I don't mean to, like, kind of hop around, but going back to, you know, the hair situation, Leo tonight and April in the hospital room or wherever they were at. I mean...

Giving me the feels there. Like, the whole thing. Like, everything. Like, I don't even know. Just such a sweet and emotional moment between the two of them. And I wish you were watching us because the whole time I'm like, just make out with her! Just kiss her! What are you doing? Just kiss her! That was like the number one tweet I got. Really? Why don't you just kiss her already? It's not in the script. I can't do it. It's not in the script. I can't do it. It could have been a spontaneous thing. If I could go back and change it now. They would be like, you know what? We love you.

We'll keep it. And then she like walks out and I was like, run after her. What are you doing? Well, neither of them should be running right now, but true. That's very true. Maybe. But if one's going to run, it's going to be a little. Yeah, the healthier. The healthier one. Yeah. I saw this moment like down the hospital like, wait, April.

And then he like dips her. He like dips her like full on makes out. I don't know. That's what happened to my script. I wish I got that one. I know. It sounds like more fun. If you were actually Leo, would you shave your head? Um, I don't know. Maybe not. I don't know. I mean, he's only has to, he's only have to, you know, he only has to shave a little part where the incision is going to be. That's it. I would probably do that. I mean,

So if I actually had to go through with what April has to do, I would probably shave my head beforehand. I wouldn't want to see it fall out slowly and in chunks and in pieces. And then, you know, because the last thing you want to worry about is like, oh, man, I look. I have to try and find out how to work my hair today because I'm missing a chunk right here. So just, you know, beck it and call it a day. Yeah. I don't know. That's me. Yeah.

I gotta say who, because I assume you guys didn't actually shave your heads. What? It looked so real, Heather. It looked so good. Whoever is doing your guys' makeup or I don't even know if it's the hair person, I assume it's makeup and like a cap. It's actually a bit of both. It's a bit of both. They, yeah, we did, we wore caps and they, it takes a long time to get into it. It takes about 12 seconds to get out

I bet. Yeah, especially, I mean, I could see them making yours look real just because you're a guy and you have less hair, but she looks like she has a lot of hair. So however they fit that under the cap. I have no idea how they did that. Well, it's a lot of trickery.

Trick maneuvering. That's true. She had this probably like a bun back here. She has like a, she looks like she has like an alien like, it's like her skull doesn't stop. It goes right into her shoulders. She's got this lump right here and it's just like, don't turn your neck. You'll always know that she's got something over her. Oh yeah, that's true. Keep your eyes peeled. They're smart little people there. I'll go watch it again. Behind the scenes. Yeah.

So, you know, definitely some great, like, I guess bonding between Leo and April and April and Beth tonight. And I kind of feel like there was also a moment between April and Brenna. It was just very quick, short, but it was also like a sisterly moment. Like, I'm here for you even though you're the older sister. You know, you're going through a rough time. I'll be there for you. It was just a sweet moment, especially because

of the grandparents being there and all the drama that was kind of erupting with them being there. I think, you know, she really needed something like that to happen. Brenna's been her solid the whole time. She has. She really has. And it was good to see that the family actually acknowledged that at the end of the episode. Yeah, give her some credit. Yeah. I feel like, you know, going way back when we first met Brenna to now, I mean, completely different person. Yeah.

So she's definitely doing some growing and maturing. Did you guys like that Channing Tatum poster? I did. Her expression was great. She's like, oh.

Oh, thanks. We were all like, oh. We're like, oh, we'll take that thing. Is that your idea? Is that why you brought that up? No, no. I didn't know it because I wasn't there that day. I didn't know what poster they were going to go with. Okay. You know, because I think it's in the script that's always something different than what they can actually license or clear it, you know? I didn't know it until I saw it. I was like, oh, they went with Channing Tatum. Who wouldn't like that? Yeah.

So let's talk about the Christmas episode because it was a Christmas episode, as we all know. And, you know, I've got to say one of the funniest moments was in that Christmas tree store that doesn't sell Christmas trees. I think that's what it was called, like Christmas tree something. Yeah, the Christmas tree store. The Christmas tree store that doesn't actually sell Christmas trees at all or Christmas anything. Because it's May. I mean, I get it's May, but...

It does seem ridiculous. Maybe change your name to the independent store in May or whatever. Or just We Got Stuff. How about the holiday store? That's a good one. I love that once again, the whole boyfriend issue got brought up with Brenna by her grandma. Like,

oh, you know, here's a nice boy. You should date him. And she's like, shut up. It wasn't even, she doesn't even care if he's a nice boy. Like, this man works at a Christmas tree store. He's a boy. He's a boy. And he clearly doesn't care because he's like, I've got seven hours. And grandma's like, he's a boy. You should date him. Yeah. Yeah.

Oh, gosh. Got to marry off the grandkids. Yeah. Marry them off at 15. But I love how the other grandma, like, brought in, like, the flag and was like, what day is this for? Like, I mean, just, that was just good. Perfect timing. So, yeah. So they brought in all their Christmas, you know, trees, ornaments, decorations, whatever they possibly could into April's.

hospital room to kind of cheer her up and give her like the family feeling of being together on Christmas like they usually are because that's it sounds like to me at least this is you know the only time the family actually does get together is on Christmas so and which I think they said you know April has been blowing that off every year so it's been a long time coming for them to meet so yeah

It's probably important for all of them to get together, especially if she's going through what she's going through. And while they're there, we see George and Sarah have their little romance. That's actually my favorite, I think. They're so cute. They're the cutest...

I don't want to call them old, but like... Middle-aged, mature couple. There you go. I was trying to find the right word for parents of grown adults. Seasoned. Yeah. Seasoned couple. Seasoned couple. Yeah, I like that. I like that.

I'm still kind of disappointed, though, in the fact that they didn't, everybody else laid out their secrets, but they didn't say, hello, we're dating too. I think that's a bigger issue. That's a much bigger issue that they have to deal with. I mean, Natalie wasn't a huge issue. She was, but it's like, we all already know about Natalie. Now we all know we all know. Yeah. Yeah, but how weird would it be to hear that your son is now dating your other son's wife? Yeah. Yeah. You know.

It's a tough one. It is. To be fair, he dated her first. True. So who has... He just goes back and forth. Or she goes back and forth. She likes that bloodline. She just doesn't like the parents. But I don't know if it was just me who caught this at the very end.

Oh, gosh, I can't remember if it was the grandma or the grandpa. I think it was the grandpa. Grandpa. Grandpa said, you know, I'm glad that you have a family now because that's all we wanted from you was to have a family. And I think he got it, but I'm not positive. I'm just thinking that. I didn't take it like that. I took it as I'm glad you have a family. Now you're kind of taking your brother's place and helping kind of raise his girls and be there for him and be like a solid person there for his wife. And I kind of saw it as you have people.

Yeah. Not that you're dating now. It's like actually a family now. Yeah. Interesting. I'm curious what other people think about that.

Maybe that would be spoiling something. I don't know. I don't pay attention to other people's storylines. It doesn't involve Leo. Just blah, blah, blah, Leo, blah, blah, blah, blah, Leo. That's how I read scripts. That sounds like a typical Leo thing to say. Yeah, you know. That's funny. I love it. So let's get into some Twitter questions because we have quite a lot actually. Oh my. Get excited. Well, you have a lot. I have a lot. I have one from Glee.

DemFan01. BleedemFan01. Oh, there we go. I don't know. What is your favorite Christmas song and movie? Mine? Yeah. I just had this talk with my friends the other day. I think I've got to say a classic Christmas song for me is Bing Crosby's White Christmas. I mean, it's just I'm really into that 50s style Christmas jazz, you know, that type of...

Smooth Christmas music. I like that. And then my favorite Christmas movie is probably, it's the polar opposite of the song, is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Chevy Chase kills me around Christmas time. I have to watch it. We watch it every year. Nice. I have a question from at Cara Soderts. What was the most complicated scene you've had to film and why?

For Chasing Life? Most complicated? I don't know. As far as content-wise, I don't think there's been a really complicated thing to shoot. But as far as most difficult thing to shoot for me was probably episode...

Five or six. I don't exactly remember which one. But it's when they're at the fundraising party for his father. And then he basically says, I have a tumor. And I'll sit before April can get the scoop. Oh, yeah. That whole day, I had like a bronchial infection. And I came... And they rented me a hotel room in the hotel we were shooting in. Just so I could go up and sleep. Because it was...

I was so worried that I was going to look pale with a sallow face and black under my eyes and I was going to be sweating the whole time. They were like, no, you look good. We couldn't tell. I watched it back and I was like, you could not tell. I was on the verge of death that day. I had to go get my chest x-rayed and stuff. It was such a bad... So I would say the most physically difficult thing I had to do on this show is act while I was so sick. No.

But I'm glad all that's over now. Yeah. I always get this girl's Twitter handle wrong, so I'm really sorry. But I think it's at Pamplemoo76. She wants to know, are you more like Leo or more like Kristoff in real life? I want to add another one in there. Cappy. Okay. Okay, that was another question. So we'll do all three.

Gosh, that's hard. I would say Cappy and Leo are really similar in ways, a lot of ways. I at least noticed a big similarity when the parts came out, or when Leo came out. Yeah.

As far as who I'm more like, it's hard to compare yourself to a fictional character from a fictional land, so I can definitely say I'm not really like Kristoff, because... I just, you know... He couldn't even exist. As far as Cappy and Leo, I think now I would be more... I would like to think I'm a little bit more like Leo, and I probably was more like Cappy when I was playing him. At least I'd like to think so. But, you know...

I don't know. They're both... I think the thing is about playing characters is there's always a little bit of you in every person you play. So being more like a character... I mean, I am that character. It's just a part of me. And it's magnified. And that's what I sort of show. So Cappy, I'm just the fun, crazy guy. When I'm that fun, crazy guy, that's all you see. And then Leo is the one who wants to...

Live it up and... Live it up and also, you know...

give to people that want to live it up as well who can't. So there's sort of a charitable aspect to that. I think we all have different aspects in our own personality that we can just tap into and filter into One Direction. I also like One Direction. I love One Direction. I looked at Michelle when you said it. I was like, I know where she's going at right now. I'm just kidding. I've never even heard her song. Are you sure? I'm so sorry. No. Maybe sing one for me. Maybe I know it. Sing one for you? You don't know?

don't know your oh yeah i don't i mean oh yeah no i know that one okay so i do like i do like one one do you have a fave um harry me too oh my god do you know any of the other names no i just feel like it's harry i was gonna say i probably not because i don't either i have one from neil mcneil and he wants to know if cabbie and casey get married

I'd like to think so. I'd like to think after they rode off into the sunset, they went to Washington and she started her career and he was a stay-at-home dad.

and played with the kids, and then they got married and had nine babies. That would have been the perfect job for Cappy. Stay-at-home dad. Oh, think about it. Get to play all day. All day. That's why they just keep having babies, because you've just got to keep that job. He's like, I don't have any little ones to play with, I need to be able to play with like us. Let's get another one. Let's get another one going. Keep it going. Nicole Palmer 523 wants to know,

Are you on team... This was before tonight's episode, so maybe think back before this episode. Okay. Are you on team Leprel or Deprel? Oh, I believe it's pronounced Laperl and Daperl. That's right, Laperl. Sorry. I'll let this one slide. I'm reading. No, no, no. It's okay. I mean, what are these things we're saying? I know. Laperl and Daperl. I was going to ask if they had the...

It's their ship names. I've got to be on team Laperle. Nothing against Richard Brent Ketisano. He's a wonderful actor and he plays Dominic very well. I'm a little partial, a little biased.

He had Heather on Dominic. Wrapped around my little finger. Until this episode. Until this episode? Until this episode. And then she's like, what? You're switching? You're shipping? When we were sitting in the screening room, they were like, oh, and I'm like, all of a sudden, everyone's on Team Leo April. Now she gets Leo. I was 150% Dominic until this episode. Well, it's because Leo's been

a jerk he has but you know he's got a brain tumor he's got a brain tumor you're right he's layered he's had a hard life yeah he's had a hard life Dominic's all candy alright I've got substance to him I don't know anyway maybe I'm just looking for more substance now maybe I don't know

Just a fangirl with two A's in fangirl. Of course. Of course. She wants to know, do you like funny or silly scenes or do you like the ones that you have to cry in her heart? Uh,

No. I prefer the funny and silly where I get to be goofy and, you know, like in the episode tonight where we're playing in the little children's playroom, you know. That's a lot of fun because we just got to sit there and play Jumbo Jenga for half an hour. And we got to play with all the toys and do some, you know, what's the game where you put your hands?

your hand on the wrist. I don't know why that just completely skipped. Speaking of, another moment, you missed the kiss. Yeah, no, I know, I know. We're working on something here. Stay tuned, stay tuned. You know what would be the worst though, which I don't think this is going to happen, but if Leo actually died and then he never got to kiss her, I would just stop watching. Again. I think they've had more than one kiss, so we're okay. Yeah.

That's true. Oh, they have? Yeah. Oh, right, they did. Okay, if he didn't get to kiss her. In a church. Right. Naughty, naughty. I just didn't, not tonight. But if they didn't get to kiss her, if they didn't get to kiss like tonight, right before he goes in for surgery, that was the time. Yeah. I know. That was. Leo really blew it. Oh, well. This one came from actually a few different people. But they want to know, how do you manage your social media alerts on your blog?

personal accounts and stuff and do you actually read people's tweets to you? Yeah, sometimes. I mean, when we do things like earlier, I was at ABC Family doing a live tweet for this episode and I will say this.

I see as many as I can see, but a lot come in. I'm not trying to say that so many people tweet me, but it's not even just me. I'll get grouped in with conversations with the other actors, too, that aren't even about me. There'll be many threads that I'm trying to navigate. I want to answer questions, but there's just so many that come through. You only have an hour. You should create a hashtag. Yeah.

We do. But for you. For me specifically. Ask Scott. Yeah, I've heard about this. I'm still learning about what that means. Ask SMF. Next time. I will make sure I'm better prepared. I mean, also, too, it's hard because, you know, a lot of times we don't see these episodes until it airs. I mean, sometimes they gift us with a little screening beforehand, but sometimes we don't see it until the day it airs.

So, you know, we're wanting to tweet everybody, but we also want to kind of see what's going on. And we're like, well, that was good. And yeah, okay, answer questions. And so, you know, it's a bit of a, it's a bit of a, you know, back and forth. But we definitely want to answer everyone's question. And if we had the time to do it, we would, you know.

Does that make you nervous, not being able to see the actual footage until it airs? Sometimes, yeah. You're like, whoa. So yeah, it's like, wow, there's a scene where I have to take my shirt off. Hopefully I wasn't eating a lot of pizza around that time. So you get a little nervous. You want to see and make sure everything that you do turns out the way you hoped it would. Yep. And let's see here.

One last question from Keeping Up With KY. This is a very important one. She tweeted me several times about this, and she wanted me to make sure I asked you this. Are you ready? She wants to know, what are you doing for New Year's Eve, and when are you picking her up? Okay.

I know. Is she in the Dallas-Fort Worth area? She's actually in New York City. Okay. I will not be in... I like how you guys know who Brittany is. Oh, she made it very clear to ask this. She did. I will be at... I'll be at home in Texas. So... All right. I mean, and I don't have, like, a G5 I can send your way. If I did, I would have it come pick you up. I don't. I'm very sorry. So you're saying if she can make it to Dallas, you will pick her up. Yeah.

That's what I heard. There's a chance. I didn't say that. But I don't know. Yeah, I plan on spending New Year's with my family. I've got six nieces and nephews and two sisters, and I'll probably just go spend it with them and my parents and brother-in-laws and all that. So it'll be a family New Year's. Yeah. Are you going home? Is that where home is then too for Christmas and everything? Mm-hmm.

Yeah. You guys get a nice little break off right now from filming? I'm actually, yeah, I'm not doing anything right now. I'm, I, I rapped once upon a time.

About a month ago, and I've been back in L.A., you know, just working on other stuff. Where does Once Upon a Time film? Vancouver. Oh, okay. So I was up there for a while. Chile, I bet. Yeah, towards the end of the year, it gets cold, and it gets rainy. Not really cold. I mean, it doesn't get like, you know, I think New York gets colder than Vancouver does, but it gets rainy there.

Lots of rain. Yeah. I did have a question about Once Upon a Time from someone. They wanted to know, while we're on the topic, if you were nervous about playing Kristoff. Yeah, in some ways. I mean, I wasn't nervous about, you know, portraying him. You know, I felt like I could do a good job. I think I was more nervous about doing it the way that they wanted it to be portrayed. You know, because it's tough...

That show is really special because they have characters from, you know, Disney movies that are 50 years old that you can portray them and do a new spin on them and it'll be fresh and no one cares if you don't look exactly like them or sound just like them. But since Frozen was a year ago, everyone wants you to look just like them and sound just like them. And it was hard to go, you know, okay, am I going to try and do an impression of this guy? And...

They said they didn't want that. And even though I think the costumes were exactly the same and a lot of everyone's hair was exactly the same, everyone looked just like it. I don't think we were trying to mimic what they were doing. It was definitely a different storyline, obviously. So we had a little bit of freedom in that way. Cool. Yeah.

Well, let's get into some predictions, why don't we? And now, your AfterBuzz TV. Woo!

predictions. Okay, do you guys want me to go first? Yeah, because I don't even know where to start. Okay, so I saved one little piece here that I didn't share with all of you in my notes because I wanted to save it for my predictions. Of course. And I'm probably totally reading into this way too much because you can't die. No. Somewhere in my prediction you're going to die. So,

As you were going under for surgery and the whole kind of like, you know, it's like the little do-do-do-do. I think that's what it's called too. The do-do-do-do-do. Wait, what is that actually called? I don't know what the medical term is. The heart monitor. There you go. The heart monitor. I sound really smart. We'll say heart monitor. Heart monitor. Anyways, we hope it's your heart monitor. Anyways, as that was going...

The song Sleep in Heavenly Peace was playing. Oh, man. Hello? This is like... Really? You're going to play this song? I think you might be reading a little too much. I know. I know, but I mean...

Why would you play that song right then? They're trying to trick us. They are. They do that in a lot of shows, you know. Yeah. So in that prediction, you die, unfortunately. But in my actual real prediction, you can't die because you just can't. You're Leo. You're, like, in the show now. Well, I feel like from the very beginning, they set it up for Leo and April to end up together.

because you don't make people hate each other unless they're going to fall in love. That's just like how movies work. That's the rule. That's the rule. It always happens like that. That's exactly how it happens. And then they like stab each other in the back until one day they fall in love and that's supposed to be real life.

Well, so whoever I don't like right now, I'm going to fall in love with. Watch out. If movies have taught us anything. All right, Michelle, you're up. Well, okay. I don't think Leo is going to die. I mean, I know it flatlined, but they could always bring him back.

Unless he signed the Do Not Resuscitate. Well, he was talking about it, but he didn't sign it. They didn't say that he signed it, did they? I don't think we did know. We didn't hear that he signed it. Yeah, he just said he went through the papers. He's like, I have this paper to go through and this one and this one. So they might bring him back to life. I think we just need to bring...

Derek Shepard from Grey's Anatomy into Chasing Life. Because he makes everyone live who has brain tumors. And if it's inoperable, who cares? Derek Shepard can make it happen. And then everyone's happy. While we're at it, we'll bring in Mick Andrews from Red Band Society, who's also just as good looking. Is he? Yeah, super. Is he? Yeah, that's good. We call him Mick Dreamy on that show, too. That's the one thing Chasing Life is missing, is the hot doctor. Hot doctor.

Well, we'll get on that. Put our request in. Put our request in because you already lost a volunteer over this. I mean, who else are you going to lose? And who could we hook the hot doctor up with?

Beth. Beth, obviously. That's a good one. Yes. She needs a hot doctor in her life. She can't date that loser anymore. Or grandma. Yes! We should hook her up with grandma. Yes. Can you imagine how awesome that was? We'll get like Feeney from Boy Meets World as a doctor. Feeney? That's no hot doctor. Okay, but grandma.

So we're trying to get her. Pierce Brosnan. Yes! Done! He's a little young for her, but he respects her. There you go. And that's what she loves. Excellent choice. She can't have someone in their 40s. That's just, I mean. Why not? It's a nice thing to have children. But I may be Aldina.

We can all dream, can't we? We can all dream. We can. That's my prediction of my life. All right. Any other closing thoughts before we wrap this up? I don't know. I don't know. Anything coming up you want to share? Yeah. Do I need a promo? I don't. Yeah, I'm just...

He's like, I'm done for the year. He's just like, I'm chill and relaxing. Getting ready for 2015. I know. Oh, gosh. It's a big year. It's a big year. Well, how about this? Can you give us a hint on what's going to happen for the rest of the season? Um...

I can't really. Will we see Leo again in any form? Maybe it's a flashback, maybe it's a dream. Or his funeral. Or his funeral, or he's actually kissing April and not pussy. Um, I...

I don't know if I'm allowed to say that. This is knowledge that you can find on IMDb, okay? Okay. I've done more episodes than just what's in 1A. Good. So whether, like you said, I don't know. It can't tell you the context of it, but I've been in more episodes. Okay. So, and I can't, like, I'm trying to think about where this picks off because...

This was not like, I don't know, this Christmas special has kind of worked in out of order. You know, we didn't film it in the order of the episodes. So we come in and I don't even like, without giving away what happens to me, it's hard to even say. I'm like, what did we do at that point in the season? I can't even remember. So all I can say is in four weeks.

Our minds are about to be blown. ABC Family, just tune in. Okay. Oh my goodness. I'm excited. Do you happen to know how many episodes are in this second part? Yeah, well, let's see. We did 10, 11, and then 10 more. Okay. So, yeah. So there's 10 more episodes. Fabulous. So excited. We're so excited. Me too. Four more weeks. Yes.

Can't do it. No, you're not even going to notice. You're going to go, you're going to have Christmas and New Year's and then you're going to like sleep for two weeks and then it'll be right there. That's true. Yeah, that'd be fantastic. All right. Let everybody know where they can find you on social media just in case they're not already following you. At Scott M. Foster on both Instagram and Twitter. All right. Oh, you can find me on Twitter and Instagram at underscore Michelle P. You can find me on Twitter at Kristen Strange and on Instagram at Kristen Aubrey Strange. And...

And you can find me on Twitter and on Instagram at HeatherJoySmith. Thanks, everybody, for watching, and thank you so much for joining us tonight. Thanks for having me. It's been a pleasure. Yeah, and we will see all of you guys back here in four weeks for the second half of the season. Yay! Bye, guys. Happy holidays.
