In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Col. Kaushal Kashyap in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is Para SF 21, NSG Commando, and Shaurya Chakra Awardee. He is someone who has many stories and insights to share when it comes to NSG and other special forces training and missions.

In this episode, we talked about how he led SAG 52, their training activities, what they do when a hijacking situation happens, hijacking history of India and the world. We then talked about the qualities of NSG people, special force training, interpersonal skill sets that are required and their routine while training.

Towards the end, we talked about what all they carried during their mission and, the animals and insects they ate during that time. We then talked about Manipur and what is happening their, the most dangerous animal that he has encountered during his special force days, and other food items that they ate during the mission.
