There are two main types of critics, external and internal. On today's episode I talk about external critics. These could be sports fans, or just normal people in your everyday life. I talk from an athlete's perspective on sports fans, and touch on how I try and avoid them and tune them out. A quote from "The Man in the Arena", which is literally what this podcast is called, "It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena. A little side note, I stumble and fumble at times in this episode. I have been struggling with fluidity in these podcasts, especially when I do them solo. More speaking and more deliberate practice will improve those issues.
