"You learn the hard way. That's the thing with social media. Nobody knows what they're doing." -Cameron Dallas
On today's episode, Abby and Margot talk all about how anxiety shows up on social media. It's uses, it's ever changing features, its demand and pressures, and the fear of missing out or 'being forgotten.' The Warriors discuss how while they are always seeking to remain connected, they also find the platforms to be exhausting, time consuming, and even a burden at times. This episode ties in nicely with ep. 45 (Sales Anxiety) as Margot and Abby both use social media primarily as a source of networking and marketing their small businesses. This can sometimes cause even more anxiety when it's easy to view social media (likes, comments, etc.) as a sort of extension of self worth. News flash: It's not! Social media is not real life. They share some of the strategies and go-to tools they use to try and navigate their daily social media usage and allow for more time making present moment connections. They hope these tips can feel supportive and helpful and ultimately lead to less anxiety.
