On today's episode, Abby and Margot welcome their next guest; Josh Nicols. Josh is the Artistic Director and Education Director at Rise Comedy in Denver. In the interview, Josh describes what it was like to grow up anxious and neuro divergent. He highlights how he navigates(ed) everyday challenges like eye contact, and transactional interactions and conversations. He shares some of the ways that he's learned to cope as well as active strategies and practices that work well for him. The Warriors learn about Josh's love and passion for improv, and how this fun and impactful work helps him to recognize his own strengths. This also gives him the ability to be a beacon for others and see the same in the students that cross his path. Josh also shares a bit about his therapy journey and offers the listeners so many relatable anecdotes, and tangible tips in successfully managing anxiety.
