"Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom." -Soren Kierkegaard

Separation anxiety is a very real struggle, not only for young children, but for folks of all ages.

In today's episode, Abby and Margot share stories from their childhood and adulthood when separation anxiety played a role and its effects on the mind, body, and behaviors. They discuss what separation anxiety means to them, and how it differs from other types of anxiety. The warriors highlight some of the ways in which separation anxiety continues to pop up and how they've learned to manage and cope with it. They offer listeners a chance to reflect on their own experiences with separation anxiety in themselves or with their children/loved ones.

Finally, Margot and Abby add another tool to the 'active practice' toolbox for all the Warriors out there to try. Body scanning! They provide listeners with simple, tangible instructions to explore a mindful body scan, ways to practice, and how it may be beneficial.
