James is a wellness speaker and yoga and SEL educator specializing in black boy wellness. He shares with the Warriors about his journey with anxiety which began at an early age. He recalls feeling unsupported and being asked to self soothe without ever receiving tools and strategies to help. James shares the many ways that anxiety followed him through his youth and young adulthood as he navigated a desire to be seen and become more assertive. He details his journey through finding his authentic voice and power, which has led him to help others to do the same. Through therapy, yoga, and fulfilling and challenging work, James highlights some of his favorite go-to anxiety coping skills and strategies.
