Communication. Simple right?? Answer: not always. "Why not?," you ask. In oversimplified terms, communication is defined as 'the imparting or exchanging of information or news.' In reality, we know it's a lot more complicated and nuanced than that. Effective communication is a skill, and an art form. It's a dance. A well oiled machine, and a chess match. Practicing being open and honest with others (and ourselves) especially for us Anxiety Warriors can sometimes feel overwhelming or tricky. But, it doesn't always have to be!
In today's episode, Abby and Margot explore times in their life where they struggled to effectively communicate their needs (and anxieties) to others and how it affected their relationships and inner peace. They discuss why the didn't speak up, and what led them to practice more open communication.
