A Link Wheel is a system that allows you to continually build quality inbound links over and over again. It then "spins" those links around in a cycle, distributing PageRank to each page while avoiding the Penguin penalty.

The term "link wheel" is used in SEO to describe the practice of creating multiple types of web pages, and then building hyperlinks from a central content hub, known as the root page, to all the other pages. The number of different types of pages can vary from three up to ten or more. It's an effective way to gain exposure for a variety of keywords and phrases, while also supplying many opportunities for search engine spiders to discover new pages.

A link wheel consists of many pages, that are specially designed for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and in between each page links to the next page, and so on. When a search engine spiders your link wheel it is believed the search engine will rank you higher for the terms in which you want your sites indexed.

This podcast will walk you through both a basic and advanced link wheel setup in order to help you understand how they work, and how they can be useful for both old and new sites alike.
