  • Erin and I had the great opportunity to speak to the Forestry for the Future National Stakeholders at the Sheraton Centre in downtown Toronto. I dare say everyone in the room was a Leaf fan no matter where they came from. This gave a whole new meaning to Leaf Nation!
  • ALSO: Congratulations to the CBC team in Ottawa for their investigative story about the joint replacement clinic being set up in The Ottawa Hospital. There are more than a few questions about how we pay for and staff the clinic.)
  • AND, Niagara Region has declare a State of Emergency for Homelessness, Mental Health and Addiction. Good call. But the SOE has no teeth. The province and the feds should be responding to this state of emergency the same way they did when the pandemic hit us.
