Senegalese news organizations widely heeded a call today for a news blackout to protest economic measures by the new government which they say threaten the industry. United Nations agencies warn Sudan is at a breaking point after more than 15 months of conflict because of what they call a crisis of neglect. The United Nations Support Mission in Libya says it is monitoring with concern the recent mobilization of forces in various parts of Libya.
