Text: Hebrews 3:7-19 Big Idea: Together, we must hold fast to Jesus to enter His rest and not be deceived by the deceitfulness of sin. Outline: How we will continue to hold fast to Christ and be honest about our hearts? (Two connected truths)

1. The Spirit enables genuine believers to assess their hearts daily in the light of Jesus. (7-11)
2. Rebellion is a real danger, so call each other to repentance and keep close to Christ. (12-19)
