Go to US State Department of Travel for advisory information or local country's Embassy.Hard and fast reasons to immediately cancel a trip include; confirmed terrorist attacks, catastrophic natural disasters (ie: Turkey's earthquake Feb 2023), areas closed due to civil unrest.**2) HOW WILL MY SAFETY OR TRAVEL TRANSPORTATION BE COMPROMISED IN THIS SITUATION?**Some situations are questionable, such as protests happening in Paris right now. Does the situation affect tourist? Will my transportation be challenging? Am I willing to deal with the inconvenience? Can you make any adjustments to your plans to avoid situation?**3) WHAT DOES MY INTUITION SAY?**We often ignore the most valuable resource we have internally, especially as women. If you will worry the whole time while on your trip, then cancel or reschedule when you know you will be able to truly enjoy the experience.**PREPARE BY:**1) Buy Travel Insurance-Allianz-World Nomads-Safety Wing-Insure My Trip- for 70 years and up2) Stay on top of news and happenings in your place of destination3) Register with STEP- for US citizens4) Listen to your gut
