On this new episode of THE POLITICRAT daily podcast Omar Moore is in conversation with Philadelphia City Commissioner and Chairman Omar Sabir on voting, voter education, misinformation and Black voters. Recorded on September 19, 2024.
NOTE: Omar researched post-interview that Stacey Abrams won 84% of the Black male vote in 2022 in the Georgia gubernatorial election. In the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election she won 88% of the Black male vote. Ms. Abrams did in fact do considerable outreach to Black men in 2018 and 2022--contrary to what Commissioner Sabir asserts during the conversation.

Stacey Abrams: "I actually focused on Black male voters in 2018...I have had very intentional conversations with Black male voters. My conversations are grounded in the fact that I respect Black men. I respect their voting power. Their voting power is strong and as candidates we have to be respectful of that and intentional about it."
