My first question for you, sir, is who do you believe?

My second question is, would you now, with the whole world watching, tell President Putin, would you denounce what happened in 2016 and would you warn him to never do it again? So let me just say that we have two thoughts. You have groups that are wondering why the FBI never took the server. Haven't they taken the server?

Why was the FBI told to leave the office of the Democratic National Committee? I've been wondering that. I've been asking that for months and months, and I've been tweeting it out and calling it out on social media. Where is the server? I want to know where is the server and what is the server?

And the evil that brought about her death, people, cruel kids, tormented her for weeks and weeks at her school. And I think that school needs to be looked at. That school and those officials...

at the Gainesville Intermediate School need to be absolutely looked at. Now, look, you know, it's in the state of Texas, so they're not going to have any accountability put upon them at all. But the bottom line is they're all culpable as well.

How on earth do you have weeks and weeks and weeks of taunting and tormenting of an 11-year-old girl and somehow everyone looks the other way? Nobody sees it. Nobody hears about it. Nobody has any inkling of it. Nobody says anything. No, I don't think so. I don't think so. And the bottom line is that you now have grieving parents who...

You know, they, hey, they just will never have their child back. It's just so evil. And this is the climate in this country that we have. We've had this climate here for a long, long time, folks. It didn't just begin earlier this month. This has been here forever. And people now are going to get a very rude awakening, especially white people, because it's going to be white people in this country who are going to have to decide if they want to sink or swim.

Because black folk have already done what they've done. We have done the heavy lifting in this country forever. We built this, mother. We absolutely have. And we did.

And we have always stood on the side of democracy. We have always voted for democracy. White people haven't in the majority and in the main. They have not voted for democracy. The majority of white people in this country at every presidential election don't vote for democracy. They vote for fascism. And that happened again in November of last year, as we all know by now, as you know, dear listener, by now. And they voted for this election.

They voted for Jocelyn Rojo Carranza to be tormented like this and to take her own life, to end the pain that she was suffering. And an 11-year-old girl, you know, these Republicans who say they care about children and care about the sanctity of life and all this bullcrap, you know, this is pure bullshit and their hypocrisy is exposed.

Did I hear any of them talk about how heinous this was for a 11-year-old girl to end her life as a result of all of these taunts and torments and how heinous these kids were? Where did they think these kids got that rhetoric from? Where do they think that these kids...

Got the idea of ice from. Where did they get that from? I wonder. Could it be their parents? I bet you these kids who were taunting her were white kids. Could it be maybe Fox News? Could it be maybe the orange felon? Could it be him? Why? Where would these 11 year old kids, these impressionable minds, where would they get the information and where of all to taunt kids?

A Latina, a young Latina, where would they get that information about ICE from? Yeah, it's in the bloodstream of the country and in Texas, all Texas especially. And so, yeah, that's where I wanted to start on this episode, dear listener, because it is important for you to realize where this country is heading because it is already over the cliff.

And the bottom has not been reached yet. This country continues to be in free fall, as it has been really for 400 years. Let's be really frank about it. And we still haven't hit the bottom yet. We're still in the air having fallen over that cliff. We're still falling. We still haven't hit the bottom. And it's going to get a whole lot worse before we eventually hit the bottom. And by then, by then,

I suspect it's going to be way, way, way too late. Everything that this orange felon touches dies. Everything. And you're going to understand that now. Those people in the world who felt that they were not going to have any consequences to face by voting this orange felon back in.

Because they thought that it wasn't going to be them that was going to get affected. It was going to be those black people or those brown people or those folks over there or that person over here. But it would be naive and absolutely stupid of me to turn away from what we are experiencing in the United States of America. It would be grossly irresponsible of me

and of you, if you live here in the United States, to pretend that this isn't happening. Because once you turn away and try to ignore it and try to ignore the news and try to pretend it's not happening and not read any headlines and not read more precisely than the headlines, the actual story attached to the headlines, once you turn your back, you're as complicit as they are. You have to face what's happening here.

And you have to let your Congress people and your senators know that you are not happy with it. I would be calling Republicans. I would be calling Republican senators and Republican House members. I would be doing that.

Even if they're not your district, I would call them as well. They know all of this is wrong. They know it. We cannot afford to despair. We must have our feelings. I think that is very important, but we cannot afford to despair. We have to organize. We have to get involved. We have to be informed and we have to educate each other and we have to form organizations with like-minded people. And we have to organize locally as well. Remember, next year, that's right, next year there is a midterm election in this country.

And as I say, we have an opportunity to organize for that. And as I say, don't despair. The majority that the Republicans have in the House of Representatives is a whopping three seats. Three. One, two, three. And what we will have to do is have candidates running. We will have to maybe run ourselves.

We will have to organize. We will have to flood the zone. We will have to do this. We must do this. We have no choice. And even if this guy is the dictator that he obviously is turning out to be, as we said he would be, we still need to get out there and vote in these midterms. We need to have an aggressive plan of action because the Democratic Party is missing in action.

The Democrats aren't going to be there to do much about anything. And it's not that they can really do anything about anything, but they can take major steps every step of the way to do something about all of this. And they refuse to. They can refuse to show up to votes. They can refuse to do that. In the Senate, they can refuse to do it.

You've got Kash Patel, who tomorrow, Thursday, is up for a full Senate vote on confirmation to be FBI director. And I'm telling you, he's going to be confirmed. And when he is, you can forget it. All that stuff that happened in the 1960s with COINTELPRO and black folk were being spied on, black activists were being spied on. Oh, baby, that is coming back. It's not like it really went away.

But it is coming back major league once he gets confirmed tomorrow because I've got a news item for you. Spoiler alert news. Breaking spoiler alert news. Kash Patel is going to get confirmed tomorrow. Thursday, February 20th, 2025. The Senate is going to confirm him. And you see, if I were the Democrats in the Senate, I would refuse to

To show up for the vote. I would do the very same thing. That one of the dumbest senators. In the US Senate. The Republican Tommy Tuberville. Did. When for nine and a half months plus. Nearly a full year. He refused. To let a vote happen. On military. Advisors. And military personnel. And if you cast your mind back. Just a little bit more than that.

The Republican Senator Rand Paul out of Kentucky held up the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act for nearly two years. Oh, I still have to review it. Oh, I still have to review it. Oh, I still have to review it. Yeah, well, I still have to review it. I still have to review it. I still have to look at it. I still have to review it. Nearly two freaking years of President Biden's term. Certainly over a year.

It was at least a year or two. And it wasn't until March of 2022, if memory serves me correctly, because I am doing this piece off the top of my head as I do all these podcast episodes for this podcast off the top of my head. Especially this piece here. Because it was somewhere around March the 29th, March the 28th, March the 30th of 2022, right?

more than a year into President Biden's term in office as president, that Rand Paul got a conscience and then Joe Biden as president was able to sign the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act into law. It's the first time that we've had federal anti-lynching legislation in the history of the United States. So, for example,

There had not been any laws on the federal level against lynching for more than 395 years, for more than 400 years, 403 years of America as America. I'm not talking about the US of A. I'm talking about America as it existed, at least 403 years ago.

Until 2022, when President Biden signed the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act into law. Rand Paul held that up for over a year, if not two years. And so why in the life of me, these freaking Democrats aren't holding up these nominations of the most dangerous people you've ever seen inside the U.S. government?

I have no idea. I just don't know. Why in the hell aren't the Democrats holding up nominations like Kash Patel's? Now, it's all academic now because they're already in. Like Tulsi Gabbard, now the director of national intelligence. Like Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary now. Like

RFK Jr., the Health and Human Services Secretary. Why didn't you hold up any of those nominations? These people are going to destroy and are destroying the infrastructure of the country. They are making the country far less safe. They are literally making this country much more dangerous, a much more dangerous place in which to live. And it's always been that way for us as black people.

it is now going to become even worse. And everybody, black, brown, Asian, white, Native American, you name it, is going to be feeling this. The Democratic messaging has been so poor, so poor, oh boy.

You cannot talk about federal workers. You have to talk about the absence of federal workers and how that affects the everyday person in America, the would-be voter. You had 90 million, nine zero million people stay home last November. Well, Democrats, your job now is to get their asses off the couch and give them something to vote for.

But if you're not holding up nominations, if you're not screaming bloody murder, if you're not having rapid response communications, if you're not getting on podcasts like this one or shows like Roland Martin Unfiltered, if you're not doing outreach, if you're not in black neighborhoods right now, right now, after your failure in November, get ready for another loss in the midterms.

If you're not presently building a base of communication and trust with black voters who voted for you, black women did 92%.

last November and black men 81% last November. If you're not building bridges and penetrating these black neighborhoods and targeting different aspects of those black neighborhoods, because we are not a monolith, if you're not doing that work right now in February, you are already failing and setting yourself up to fail in the midterms next year.

You should be blanketing every network known to humankind, every media and every conceivable media organ you could think of. Podcasts, no-casts, Snapchats, no-chats, every chat. I don't care. You should be everywhere like Johnny Cash. I've been everywhere, man. You should be doing that. That should be your slogan. But are the Democrats going nuts?

To flood the zone the way that this orange thug has done? Bamboozling and bewildering and depressing the hell, depressing the fuck out of every person who lives in America? Who actually believes in sanity and rationality and decency? Are the Democrats doing that kind of zone flooding? Oh no, no. They're holding press conferences on C-SPAN, a place where nobody watches anything happen.

I might be the only person in America with about 100 other people in this country out of 340 million people who live here who actually watches C-SPAN. And I'm sorry, having a press conference

on C-SPAN does not cut the mustard, nor does it get to the vast majority of Americans. You need to be targeting their phones. You need to be sending out phone messages. You need to be texting people. You need to be texting every voter who voted last time around. You need to be texting every voter who didn't vote. You need to be rousing them from their slumber. It's the phone, stupid. You need to be targeting every person's phone.

You need to be doing rapid response by cell phone. You need to have a concise message and a concise paragraph responding to the madness and to the illegality that's ripping this country to shreds at the hands of this orange criminal. And every day that the Democratic Party doesn't do that is another day that this dictatorship accelerates its power and this country.

And Rand Paul's excuse, oh, it's too broad. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. And so they had to kind of do some finagling. And finally, they got the bill. It didn't take him two years to do the finagling. It was Rand Paul was sitting there going, oh, no, no, it wasn't. It's just absolutely ridiculous. So Rand Paul...

who claimed that he wanted something done about lynching, but really wasn't in a hurry to have something done about lynching, was the person who held that bill up. Held the bill up. Bill made lynching a federal hate crime. Can you imagine that for all of these centuries? Lynching was not a hate crime, and there wasn't any real law against it on the federal level. I mean, absolutely ridiculous.

I really do think the Democrats should be doing a whole lot more than they are doing. And they are fighting as if this is still the 20th century. I think that's their biggest problem. And the other biggest problem is that their leadership is still very old and still very white. And those things are massive problems. This is a new generation. It's a new century. And you need new leadership.

Leadership that looks like the country, not leadership that looks like the founding fathers with their wives, because that's what the Democratic Party is at the moment. The leadership is Lily White. And I'm not talking like the leadership as in Hakeem Jeffries, the representative out of New York, who is the House Democratic leader. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the power brokers. I'm talking about the people like Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.

who won't even do black media to save her life. Maybe she's done two black media interviews in her entire career, for God's sakes. One of them was the late, great Joe Madison. And I know that because I was listening to it when it was happening. But, miss, I'll pray for everyone, and we must be prayerful. Speaker Pelosi, who got on a knee, took a knee in 2020 and was wearing kente cloth...

and went to the African continent with the likes of Representative Ilhan Omar and stood there in the doorway of no return, the point of no return with a kente cloth on, and declared herself to be some kind of honorary black person on the African continent in Ghana, acted as if she was an ambassador for black folk, and then she can't even do any immediate interviews with black people.

She can't do black media interviews. Let me be more particular and specific. Gives an idea of who she is. Gives you some real insight. And then says nothing when a black trans person here in San Francisco, Banco Brown, is shot to death by a Walgreens security guard. Her ass is silent as ass. She didn't say anything about that.

Oh, but I'm a Catholic and I pray and we must be prayerful. It's all bullshit. It's all garbage. Yeah, I've cursed three times in this episode, but who's counting? Hopeless. Hopeless. This leadership has got to change is my point. We need Jasmine Crockett. We need Ilan Omar. We need AOC. We need Ayanna Pressley. We need the lot of them and many more.

These are the kinds of people who need to be leading that party and being the foremost spokespersons of that party in some way, shape or form. They need to recruit the people. We all need to be involved in this, all of us. But as long as you have this stodgy ass white system

And if it is Russia, which it's probably not, nobody knows who it is, but if it is Russia, it's really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country when they would hack into a major party.

You remember that in 2016? Don't you remember that in late July of that year? Yep, that was the orange felon. He wasn't a felon then, but he was a candidate for the office that he now holds. That year he won and last year he won. And yes, he openly courted Russia.

But I play that clip for another reason, because what I'm going to be doing for the rest of this episode, the rest of this episode, is talking about what you already know about, which is quite clearly that the geopolitical realities of this world

are dangerously close to exploding into what could end up ultimately becoming World War III. Yeah, I should give you an advisory that you might find what I talk about here to be a bit uncomfortable. that Europe has been ignored by the United States over the last few days and weeks, when you consider, dear listener, that Russia has been courted to the table of talks around Ukraine, when you consider, dear listener, that Ukraine is being threatened by Donald Trump and that Donald Trump lied and belittled Ukraine,

the leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. When you consider, dear listener, and you've probably forgotten this already, that back in what, 2019, Donald Trump tried to bribe, bribe President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and tried to get him to hold a press conference on CNN announcing that there was some misconduct and there was some corruption charges.

that were going to be filed around Joe Biden, then Vice President Joe Biden, and Burisma and all this other bull crap around Hunter Biden. And it was all being done with the goal of muddying and harming Joe Biden's chances to become President of the United States. That's what Donald Trump got impeached for the first time. And that's what virtually every American has already forgotten.

You've already forgotten that Donald Trump was impeached on that in 2019. It was December of that year. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was December the 18th of that year. And then Donald Trump was impeached a second time a year and a half later. At the top of my head, I think it was something like February the 13th, 2021. President Biden was already in office. But

On both occasions, the United States Senate did not convict Donald Trump. Had they done so in either occasion, he would not be in the White House right now, pushing us ever closer to World War III, to World War fucking III. Now, I'm not saying that's ever, ever going to happen. Knock on wood that it doesn't.

When you listen, as I have over the last few days, unfortunately, to this decrepit orange thing, talking about, well, we don't want to have to use nuclear weapons. We don't want to have to. And then you go back years ago when he was running the first time talking about why can't we use nuclear weapons? Why can't we use nuclear weapons? According to The Atlantic.

according to several publications, according to a general he was talking to at the time he said this. And then when you consider that every ally to the United States is being treated worse than Vladimir Putin is as an adversary to the United States, you have all the ingredients of what could come. These meetings that the European countries are having, including Canada,

and they're not a European country, but they're being included in these meetings. I mean, this is the kind of thing that's extremely dangerous. You've got a situation where this country, the US of A, is absolutely ceding its responsibilities and is saying, NATO, go it alone. Europeans, go it alone. We're going to pull out all our troops from Ukraine. And that's going to trigger World War III, essentially. That is the thing that would happen.

Oh yeah! And then you'll have China trying to take over Taiwan. They will take their cues from what's happened with Russia and Ukraine. And you've got big f-ing problems once China does that. You really will have a really strong propensity to have a world war. You really will. And then what happens next? Putin takes Poland and takes Finland.

and then starts moving further west, hey, what's to stop him? Once the US turns its back, what's to stop him? Once the US comes to the aid of Russia, what's to stop Putin? What's to stop China? Europe gets crushed, Europe gets bombarded, and next minute you know, Europe and the US are going at it. And they've now become full-blown enemies.

and Europe now has to defend itself from the US of A. It's a nightmare scenario. I hope to hell that it never happens. What I'm essentially saying to you, dear listener, is that we are closer to that nightmare than ever before. F a doomsday clock. This is the doomsday clock. We're in it. We're living it. And this clock is not only at midnight. This clock is broken.

And that's worse than it being at midnight. The doomsday clock is broken now. And all hell has broken loose. All hell. We're hearing that Russia wants to force Ukraine to hold new elections in order to sign any kind of a peace deal. Is that something that the US would ever support? Well, we have a situation where we haven't had elections in Ukraine. Well, we have martial law, essentially martial law in Ukraine.

where the leader in Ukraine, I mean, I hate to say it, but he's down at 4% approval rating, and where a country has been blown to smithereens. You got most of the cities are laying on their sides. The buildings are collapsed. It looks like a massive demolition site. The whole, I mean, so many of the cities, I mean, they haven't done it in Kiev because I guess they don't want to shoot too many rockets in there. They've done it

Wouldn't the people of Ukraine want to ask for an election? The people of Ukraine, you stupid orange idiot, are too busy running for their lives from the bombs that Russia are freaking lobbing at it. And one other thing, you orange idiot, listen up. Ukraine is at war. Probably not a good idea to be holding elections during wartime.

When the war's breaking out in your country, you don't hold elections like that, do you now? In the UK during World War II, there were no elections in the UK from 1933 through 1945. Why? Maybe World War II and Britain was being bombed and bombed and bombed by the Germans, by the Nazis.

Uh, yeah, try having elections happen when the bombs are falling on you. Really smart idea to have an election when you're being bombarded and blitzed and bombed to effing hell. Oh, that's really gonna be a wise idea. I wonder how many people are gonna show up for those elections, Donald Idiot Trump. Ah, yeah, um...

No. And furthermore, I should also point out to the orange felon another thing, because, I mean, I just don't understand why someone would speak about something they have no idea about. And I think it's going very well. But today I heard, oh, we weren't invited. Well, you've been there for three years. You should have ended it three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal. I could have made a deal for Ukraine that would have given them almost all of the land, everything, almost all of the land, and no people would have been killed and no city would have been demolished and not one dome would have been knocked down. But they chose not to do it that way. I want to play this piece of audio for you.

Because that orange fool said that Ukraine shouldn't have started the war. How dumb is that statement? I want you to listen to this audio. It will further confirm how stupid this person in the White House is. This is an ABC News special report. Now reporting, David Muir.

Good evening and we're coming on the air at this hour with breaking news after the U.S. warned all day of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine that it was imminent. Vladimir Putin has just addressed the Russian people moments ago announcing what Putin called the start of a military special operation in his words.

to demilitarize Ukraine, that Russia would bring in troops. He told Ukrainian troops to lay down arms and go home. Putin warned outside countries not to interfere. A Russian military operation, it would appear, is now underway. More than 150,000 Russian troops had been surrounding Ukraine for days now, surrounding the borders in the north, the east, and the south. The senior U.S. defense official had already reported the troops were uncoiled. They were ready all day.

There were several ominous developments leading up to this tonight from Vladimir Putin himself. Russian state media now reporting that those two separatist regions inside Ukraine that Vladimir Putin declared as independent, that they were now requesting military help from Vladimir Putin and the Russian military in taking on Ukrainian forces.

Of course, this was exactly what the US and the West believed Putin would do, that Putin would use a request for help like this one as a pretext or reason for moving in to explain any large-scale invasion. I want to bring in our senior foreign correspondent Ian Pannell, who's been reporting live from Kyiv for several weeks now. And Ian, you reported moments ago that you have heard some noise already off in the distance.

Yeah, the distinct sound of explosions on the horizon here in Kiev, we've heard at least force what appear to be strikes lighting up the night sky just in the last really 10 minutes or so. As you say, it looks like the darkest day.

has come to pass following this speech by Vladimir Putin. We decided to launch this special military operation calling on the Ukrainian military to lay down its arms, talking about the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.

I mean, judging by those words, this appears to be the worst case scenario. Potentially, we have to wait and see. Not just forces moving into the east of these rebel held areas, but potentially moving on other parts of the country. This seems to be a much larger ambition. It's no longer just about the Donbas, this industrial heartland in the east of the country. It doesn't really seem to be just about Ukraine per se. He again warned foreign countries not to interfere. He talked about NATO expansionism.

And I think there you have it, really, what Vladimir Putin is really concerned about, about restoring the might of Russia at the expense of the people of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president has spoken three times over the last three nights. He's been very clear that he will not leave the capital Kiev despite being instructed to do so by the Americans or suggested that he do so by the Americans, that he and the people will stand and fight. And that's what we've been hearing from the Ukrainian military and from people who were called up in the last few hours. They've gone from being civilians to now being soldiers having to fight on the front line. We have to wait and see.

What targets were struck here in Kiev? There have been reports of explosions in other areas. What is the military objective here? Donald Trump is an idiot and a liar. And dear listener, you know that. Ukraine did not start the war. Russia started that war. You just heard a report, part of a report from ABC News. And that report aired actually on Friday.

February the 23rd, 2022 on the West Coast. In the East Coast or on the East Coast, it was the 24th of February, or at least in Ukraine, it was the 24th of February because that's exactly when the invasion by Russia happened. Russia invaded Ukraine on February the 24th, 2022.

just over a year into President Biden's term in office. President Biden and Vice President Harris predicted that Russia would invade Ukraine, and they were absolutely correct, both of them. In fact, Vice President Harris was the last official to speak to Russia.

President Volodymyr Zelensky, before the invasion took place, it was literally two or three days before, she was the last leader of any kind to speak to Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine, before the Russian invasion happened. And to sit here and listen to that orange buffoon say, well, you shouldn't have ever started it. You shouldn't have started it.

Knowing full well that Ukraine didn't start this, Russia did. You just heard the news report. Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24th, 2022. We are less than a week away from the three-year mark of that invasion. Less than a year. Less than a week, I should say. So it just shows you how stupid Ukraine

dangerous and how much of a liar Donald Trump is. Now for once the corporate news media in a number of places seemed to and did push back. You had Sky News of London of the UK doing so. You had The Washington Post doing so. You have BBC News doing so. You had

The Wall Street Journal? No, not the Wall Street Journal. Someone else put it. There were a number of publications that did. You had politicians even. You had even Republican politicians in this country. Lindsey Graham doing so. Donald Trump called Vladimir Zelensky a dictator, which, you know, that's just projection from the guy who later on in the day would say that he was a king. Because that's exactly what Donald Trump said today. Oh, I'm a king. Long live the king.

But just hours earlier, he's calling Zelensky a dictator. Oh, okay. Because he supposedly wouldn't call elections. I already told you why he wouldn't call elections. And the reason why Russia wants Zelensky to call elections is so they can interfere in them, like they did previously, like they've done all over the world. Russia's interfered in every goddamn election, including ours here in the US. They're going to be interfering in Germany's elections on Sunday. I guarantee you that.

And don't think that there may not be some kind of connection between these violent acts happening in Germany over the last few weeks and months and Putin. People forget already in this country that back on November the 5th of last year, there were foreign actors calling in bomb threats in Atlanta, Georgia and precincts there and about in these counties. And there were bomb threats called in by foreign actors.

Believed to be Russia, quite frankly. And that story got buried and everyone moved on. Putin meddles in every freaking election you can think of. All over the world. But this orange idiot has given Putin legitimacy again. Something he had not been getting, obviously, from Biden or Obama. And you best believe that Putin has something on this orange idiot. Surely he does. This is the state of affairs that we find ourselves in.

We have someone lying their ass off about Ukraine, lying their ass off and projecting around Zelensky, and furthermore, also lying about the amounts of money that are being spent to aid Ukraine. It's just around $187 or $183 billion that the U.S. has spent or thereabouts on Ukraine. And European countries collectively, I think, have spent around $176 billion.

So those numbers are quite similar. I don't know what else to say, but I think I've made it clear enough. I think it might be a good idea to end this episode, dear listener, with something that I heard on Sky News that I think is worth repeating. Now that is not true and it should be called out. On the 24th of February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Their army attacked from Belarus, from Russia and Crimea that they previously annexed. Facts matter. We have a responsibility to be clear when something is not true. So what is actually going on? Well, according to Boris Johnson, Europeans should stop being scandalised by Donald Trump. And actually,

Donald Trump's statements, he says, are not intended to be historically accurate, but to shock Europeans into action. So is this all a negotiating tactic from the US president? It's certainly possible. Some would agree with Donald Trump that Europe needs to step up. But, you know, despite all of that, facts always matter. And this one matters more than most, because it seems to me if you're trying to end a war, firstly, you need to face up to the truth of how it actually started.
