We conclude our review of bad television series Locke & Key trying to figure out how a show that sacrificed all the character development of its sources material for plottiness could end up feeling so thin, so confusing, so contrived. We also talk about the pros and cons of a six-hour cunnilingus session* and Netflix's mass yassification of 'nerd culture' IP.
CW: There is a brief discussion of transphobia at the beginning of the episode, specifically regarding something transphobic we said on a recent episode. On that subject, thanks again to those who articulated their concern and disappointment, and allowed us an opportunity to respond.
