As the immigration crisis continues, it is important to listen to the voices of immigrants who came here legally. Many have contributed greatly to our society and have worked hard to achieve their American Dream. Soraya Z. is a legal immigrant who is concerned about our open-border policies and the overwhelming surge of illegal immigrants. She lives near the border and shares with Linda her first-hand accounts of the negative effects of illegal immigration. She also expresses her fear of America becoming like the country she left.
