**LOTS OF THINGS HAVE CHANGED, AND PEOPLE DON’T LOVE CHANGE **
No matter where you are in life (or job), the New Year tends to make you self-reflect and re-prioritize the things that are important to you. And when this dynamic happens within teams, those two priorities don’t always align.
SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO PRIORITIZE THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
- If you’re a team leader, remember to over communicate. Hallways don’t exist anymore, and Slack/Email threads often get ignored.
- Take stock of where people are with regard to their priorities, their goals, and their frustrations.
- Everything feels crazy these days in terms of recruiters and job offers and salary levels, but find a way to balance or evaluate “new, big!!” and what aligns to your goals.
- Find ways to socially interact with people in fun ways.
