Ruth Adell Rivers, 84, of Daphne and formerly of McIntosh, passed away on Oct. 17, 2024, at The Retreat Hospice by SAAD in Mobile with her family by her side, following a seven-year battle with cancer. She was born on March 21, 1940, in Dixons Mills. Ruth was a member of McIntosh United Methodist Church from the age of 11; as an adult, she sang in the choir, served on the board, and taught Sunday school for more than 30 years.
