Leroy High School was among 50 high schools nationwide to receive ,000 last week as part of T-Mobile’s recently launched “T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights.” The ,000 award will help the Bears’ football program buy new equipment or cover transportation expenses. Leroy is one of 12 high schools in Alabama to win ,000 since the program launched in early August. The Friday Night lights program will also give one small-town school a chance to win a million grand prize football field technology makeover. The grand prize winner will be announced in December.
