One person was killed and two were injured when an SUV and a tractor-trailer hauling a backhoe collided on U.S. Highway 43 in Jackson on Friday, authorities said. The wreck occurred at 12:52 p.m. with first responders finding two people trapped in the tractor-trailer and another person in a Chevrolet Blazer who was non-responsive, according to the Jackson Police Department.
