I heard someone say recently that they don't like copywriting because it's a manipulative way to sell. And as a copywriter who also built a whole business around teaching people 'non-sleazy' ways to sell, it really got me thinking.
Is copywriting truly manipulative? Is it just another 'sleazy marketing tactic' used to sell things people don't need to people who don't really want them?
In today's episode, I'm exploring this question and sharing my thoughts on using psychology to sell. I'm reflecting on whether this is biblical and at what point things may cross a line into being manipulative.
