Hugh Karp is the founder of Nexus Mutual. With 15 years of experience in traditional insurance, Hugh stumbled across Bitcoin in 2010, and was intrigued by the concept, but it wasn't until discovering Ethereum in 2016 that he began to grasp the potential of merging insurance with blockchain tech. Nexus Mutual is a decentralized alternative to insurance, which uses the Ethereum blockchain to create a risk-sharing pool in the form of a mutual to return the power of insurance to the people.
