Ethan Lou is the author of Once a Bitcoin Miner: Scandal and Turmoil in the Cryptocurrency Wild West. In 2019, Ethan attended a blockchain conference in North Korea along with only seven other foreign attendees, one of whom was Virgil Griffith of the Ethereum Foundation (Virgil was arrested for alleged conspiracy in late 2019). In his book, Ethan gives a deep dive into his own crypto journey, and how it’s intersected with the likes of Virgil Griffith, Anthony Di Iorio and Gerald Cotten.
