A lot of social media platforms are in the process of purging what they dub "misinformation" from users' posts. They act as though there is an organized "misinformation campaign" being led by those who don't believe or agree with everything the news and the government say.
There is an abundance of both misinformation and disinformation floating around the interwebs, about a virus, a shot, our rights, and inanimate objects that go "bang."
I say it is IMPOSSIBLE to intentionally spread misinformation by the very definition of the word. Let's talk about the differences between sharing MIS-information and DIS-information, and the implications for both.
