Shownotes Transcript

Katerine Escobar grew up in the city of Medellin and studied fine arts at Colombian National University. She is an accomplished illustrator who uses her iPad for most of her digital creations. Her artworks are full of symbolism with meanings that are poignant and important to modern conversations. Politics, religion, education, and complex socioeconomic issues are not off limits for Katerine.

She describes her work as “ everyday objects and things in nature such as plants and animals that are deliberately combined to produce provocative, absurd, and sarcastic images. The character of my work is reflective, conceptual and, at the same time, endowed with a universal language that allows me to visualize and generate an immediate reaction from the viewer.”

She recently jumped in to the crypto art scene thru her drops on Nifty Gateway curated by The Mad Pups! She has had two successful sell out drops and and her artworks are maintaining an impressive secondary floor price.
