You have Daddy issues. Probably. But don’t sweat it, we all do! Our fathers and mothers are the first two adults that show us how to act and what to expect from life, and most of us subconsciously tend to recreate exactly what we experience in childhood, or at least attempt to find the very opposite of it. We look for what’s familiar and often our partners look exactly like our main caregivers (hey, men aren’t immune to this, either!). But just because you probably have Daddy issues doesn’t mean it’s a death sentence or that you’re doomed to love junior versions of your dad forever… but you maaaay find yourself falling into some interesting patterns if you’re not careful.
