QUICK UPDATE - Between the time we recorded and released this episode, Niantic has announced that Spotlight Hour and Mystery Bonus Hour have been combined into a single Tuesday event!
Spring news is beginning to pour in to the world of Pokémon GO! We start off with our recap of the Safari Zone St. Louis Global Event activation. Tons of spawns, shinies, and rare Pokémon were to be had! This event was fantastic and gives us hope for future events of this type!
The first two April events are here with the currently running Tricky Event as well as the upcoming Spring into Spring Events! I am sure everyone is super excited about more Pokémon with hats! Jokes aside, there are some cool features for these events including some really good looking Togepi Avatar items!
Niantic is further embracing at home gameplay with the release of a blog post that details their plans to adapt some of their core philosophies. We detail the changes and speculate on how they could be implemented! Will these changes need to be permanent, or would the community be ok with having the rug pulled out from underneath them?
Next up is the Grass month rebalancing which includes some big changes to moves and move pools! Ludicolo looks to be a threat with Energy Ball and Niantic has heard our concerns about Ancient Power being too OP!
We wrap up by Poking The Bear by asking - Has Pokemon GO become the game you hoped and imagined it to be? Join the conversation on social media and share your thoughts!
