We have a ton to discuss this week as we have seen the Community go from being divided to later come together. First off was last week’s Mythic Blade Event which had people upset about the $7.99 pricetag which felt like a direct purchase of Keldeo. WIth some not so great items and an anti climactic Keldeo catch sequence, the event left a lot to be desired. 

 

This is a significant juxtaposition to how the Community has come together this week to track down the 18 different forms of Vivillon! We are seeing levels of Community interaction that hasn’t been seen since the launch of Remote Raids a few years ago. We do question how long this vibe will sustain itself, as well as how Niantic will continue to make Vivillon an available Pokémon. 

 

We cover a few smaller topics like the unique Pokémon Festival Event in Jakarta, the different sizes available to a few additional Pokémon and the fact that Pokéminers will be cutting back a bit on their efforts.

 

There still is plenty of news to cover however with Community Day this weekend as well as Part 1 of the Holiday Event. We are definitely fans of the Holiday catch screen look, but will the event have enough going for it to make us love it?
