As we get one week closer to the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event, the event schedule remains relentless. With player burn out once again becoming a talking point, it will be interesting to see how the game takes shape as we approach the end of Season 1. We recap the events of last week and dig right in to the Lunar New Year Event, which was a nice combination of spawns and features. Before we knew it, Roselia Community Day was here, and the next week of Spotlights and Raid Hours was among us.

 

The annual Valentine’s Day event is back and is filled with friendship and love. We break down the event and discuss how it begins the moment the Lunar New Year event ends, adding to the topic of player burnout. While we are excited to get some new Pokémon added to the game, the real excitement is the return of some 2018 Community Day Moves.

 

We wrap up with a discussion around the Kanto Tour, as Niantic has kept us on a drop feed of info over the past few weeks. With a new contest announced and details on Shiny Ditto and Shiny Mew, the event is starting to take shape.
