It’s Spooky Season! Our week was packed with events and various things to do within the game including the Halloween 2020 Event as well as its sub events, Duskull Spotlight Hour, Darkrai Raid Hour as well as The Crown Tundra event featuring Galarian Ponyta and Farfetch’d! This week has been amazing and has kept trainers super busy this week!

 

Animation Week is the next event that is on its way to the game, which will celebrate the Pokémon Journeys Anime! Featuring Pokémon found in the show, Timed Research inspired by the episodes, Goh popping up in Photobombs, and even Goh inspired Avatar Items! 

 

There are a bunch of Regional Events on the calendar, with LATAM getting a Day of the Dead Event as well as a few different areas of the world getting Special Weekend Events thanks to various sponsors. We discuss the details of each event, and how players in some parts of the world may be feeling the FOMO burn.

 

November will also be bringing us our first Double Community Day! Electabuzz and Magmar will be featured on back to back weeks giving us 12 hours of shiny hunting. This new format is super interesting, and makes us wonder if this will become the standard in the future!

 

We wrap up with our Community Question that was all about Field Research. How would you feel about some more difficult tasks coming to research like Make 5 Excellent Throws in a Row or even 10 Excellent Throws in a Row. The reward encounter would need to be significant, and the community seems to know what they are looking for!
