In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts** Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette** (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio taking a look back at USC's incredible season opening win over LSU in Las Vegas. In the days after the victory the guys have been able to rewatch the game plus hear from Lincoln Riley on Trojans Live and following Tuesday's practice. On the show they share their thoughts on what else they have learned since coming back from Las Vegas.
Going into the game the guys talked about the defense needing to get better and the offense needing to not take a step back with the departure of Caleb Williams. Coming out of it they talk about what they liked about this Trojan offense, defense and special teams and what they saw that could be areas of concern going forward into the Big Ten schedule.
The celebration on the field was glorious, but after a day off the Trojans were back to work getting ready for Utah State on a short week. Riley talked about the challenges of getting the team ready with one less day of preparation and how there were areas USC needed to get better in to build on that LSU victory. Ryan and Connor talk discuss what they know about the Aggies and if there is any concern about a post-victory "hangover" Saturday night in the Coliseum.
