You've probably heard the term "unthinkable" or used it yourself. Unthinkable has something strange about it, something that makes me smile. As soon as I describe something as unthinkable, I am actually contradicting myself. Because if I think or say something and then describe it as unthinkable, then I have already thought it - so my statement is no longer true. That's not the case with the invisible. Here I can say: there is hope and it is invisible. Unthinkable. It seems to me that it's something you can grasp, and as soon as you reach out and try to grab it, it's gone. But I do know one exception - at least for me. For me, God is unthinkable. Unthinkable in the sense that I can't even begin to think of Him in my mind, to imagine His essence, and yet He is as real as my body. If that sounds unthinkable to you - it doesn't have to be.
