When I'm on the train, I like to drink a coffee. And I like it hot. In paper cups it cools down quickly and paper cups are not very sustainable, ecologically. A thermos cup is ingenious: I can use it several times and the coffee stays nice and hot. I am grateful for such inventions, as simple as they may be. When I think about it, so many things come to my mind that I take for granted in everyday life without being aware of their value: a key that gives me access or locks precious things safely, a tap that I can simply open and that gives me hot or cold water as needed at any time, a warm blanket at night, and so on. So, this statement of Jesus spontaneously comes to my mind: "and yet their heavenly Father feeds them". With all our efforts and our own efforts - I feel so well provided for by the heavenly Father, also with good relationships. How well I am doing - I hope you are too!
